Hello! It's time for a new Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge. This week, we are sponsored by Creepy Cute Stamps , and the theme is "Orange and Black." I used Emily Bones for my ATC, and I colored her with my Tombow watercolor markers. Then, I fussy cut her out. I wanted a funky background for her, so I broke out my Zebra Texture stencil from Dreamweaver. I laid it on to my orange cardstock, and sprayed the heck out of it with Diet Cola Memories Mist . I oversprayed it so that it would bleed under the stencil. I really didn't want it to be a perfect background image, so I got exactly what I wanted. That's it for me today! Hello again! Do you like pumpkin pie? I sure do! It's one of my favorite pies, actually. I am really excited that it's pumpkin season here in NY.  The rest of the Stampendous Design Team is pretty excited too. That's why our theme this week is "Pumpkin Pie." We will be featuring all sorts of pumpkins (and there are a lot!) in our projects this week. Today, I am sharing a cute necklace I made. This is a great necklace for a child. Although, let's be real...I'd wear it too! I used the Cling Create Fall stamp set and the coordinating Die set to create my pumpkin. I stamped him with Staz-On on to a piece of white shrink plastic. I had experimented with clear first, but after I had made my glittery background, he was too tough to see, so I redid him with the white. I colored the pumpkin (before shrinking) with Sharpies. Hello again! I have 2 projects to share with you today. The first is for A Day for Daisies and the second is for Left of Center. We have an inspiration board for ADfD, and the team is featuring the Mucha Flowers again. These flowers are so pretty! What a great inspiration board! I love the colors, the art nouveau flair, all of it. Here's the card that I made featuring Mucha Style Poppy . I colored my poppy using my Tombow watercolor markers. Then I inked the edges and background of the image. For the layer under the poppy, I used the fantastic Art Nouveau Background from Dreamweaver. I used Gold embossing paste , so it has a beautiful shine. After the paste dried, I inked the edges. Then, I watercolored my card base, keeping it simple. I glued it all together and voila! Hello! This week, the Stampendous team has been feeling a little distressed....but in a good way! We are sharing all sorts of projects that share various distressing techniques. I used several techniques on my project. I love the distressed look, so this theme was right up my alley. I started off with a piece of wood that was pre-cut to my background shape. I used Andy Skinner's Faux Rust Technique along with Deco Art paints. You can check out a video for that HERE . After I completed that step, which by the way, really looks like rust and made me very happy...I started on the oval which is made of chipboard. I painted the oval using various Deco Art paints, and then I used the Gears stencil and Gold Embossing Paste . I used my embossing gun to quicken the drying process and because I wanted it to get bubbly. I painted Prussian Blue paint mixed with the Ultra Matte varnish to give a wash over the whole piece. I wiped it away from the gears, but not completely. Again, add

Hello! Today I am sharing my portion of the A Day for Daisies Designer Showcase of the Mucha Style Flowers. I used the Mucha Style Wild Poppy for my card. I colored this lovely poppy with my Tombow watercolor markers. I decided to go with a hard and soft contrast for my card. So the flower is soft and pretty, while the Chevron stencil that I used from Dreamweaver is hard and graphic. I used a sponge dauber and ink for the stencil. I did of course want the poppy to stand out, which is why I kept the stenciling soft in color. My sentiment is from the Bouquet for You set from Stampendous . I used some scrap checkerboard paper and torn black cardstock to finish the card off. Next week, I  will be sharing another project with one of the Mucha Flowers. I used my Tombow recycled pencils to color this image (I'm keeping the Tombow theme going this week!). It didn't come out as great as I would have liked, but my hands were giving me some trouble today (I have an autoimmune disease), so I had to just leave it be. But she's a cutie! Hello! The Stampendous Design Team is gearing up for a fun blog hop with Tombow .  Today, I am going show a project with the Zero Drawing Technique to you. You may have seen me use this technique a couple of weeks ago, with the same beautiful Leafless Tree from Dreamweaver, and other pumpkins. But this time, I decided to go a bit spookier and use these Jack O Lanterns . This is a very simple technique with awesome results, and you can learn how to do it by watching this video HERE . This is perfect if you need a card in a pinch,and just don't feel like coloring. You'll definitely want to pick up the MONO Zero Round Eraser if you decide to try this technique. The eraser is so small and can get into such teeny crevices of your stencils. Plus, you can easily draw with it. It's a great eraser! Greetings! The Stampendous Design Team is getting ready for a fantastic blog hop with Tombow. I love Tombow products, and I use them in many of my projects. Today, I am using their wonderful watercolor markers to share the Splash Technique with you. I took a piece of watercolor paper and tore the top. I then stamped my skeleton and his top hat from the super fun Skeleton Style set, and I embossed it with black embossing powder . Then, I stamped and embossed my sentiment and bats, from the Spooky House set. Then I started to really play. I pulled out a few of my Tombow Dual Brush watercolor markers and I scribbled on a large acrylic block. The colors I used were 985, 933, 636, 603, 055, and 025. Then I spritzed the block a couple of times with water. Then, I turned my watercolor paper over so that the images were face down, and I swept, dabbed, and tapped the paper across the acrylic block. Hello! I have 2 projects to share with you today. The first is for the latest A Day for Daises and the second is for Left of Center . The ADfD team is busy featuring the September Club Kit, and our new challenge is "Frame It!" I used Fairy Lily Portrait for my card. I colored her with my Tombow watercolor markers, and I added a wee bit of glitter to her wings. Here's a closer look. I love the new gray hair trend that women are going lately, so I went with that for this lovely fairy. For my frame, I simply made 2 borders with an EK Success punch, and then a piece of coordinating green cardstock. It took a little engineering to make sure the green didn't show behind the punched areas, but still was big enough to frame the image...but I love how it turned out. I cropped her down so that I could focus in on her upper half. I colored her with my Tombow watercolor markers and I gave her Liquid Pearl earrings. I had some cute paper that resembled the print on bandannas, so I thought it worked well with her. I added a couple of cute buttons for some more shine and dimension. It's time for the A Day for Daisies team to start showcasing the beautiful September Club Kit. For my project, I worked with Fairy Dandelion Portrait. I watercolored this lovely fairy and kept the image's background fairly simple. A little Frantage Encrusted Jewel Kit in Pink from Stampendous in 2 of the corners was all it really needed. I used a simple "Believe" stamp and then I started to work on my card base. I used the Damask Dreamweaver Stencil and some green ink, which was applied with a stencil brush. That's it! The fairy really needed to speak for herself...so I didn't want to go overboard. I'll have another new fairy to share with you next week, as well as a new ADfD challenge. Hello! Have you been enjoying the All in Ones from Stampendous this week? Today, we are combining these awesome stamps with Dreamweaver. I used the Sweater Snowman for my card today. I colored him with Spectrum Noir and Prismacolor markers. For the Dreamweaver portion of my card, I used the Christmas Border Embossing Folder. I rolled it through my Sizzix machine with Coredinations cardstock, and then I sanded it to highlight the  design. It works really well with the snowman's background. I used some fabulous Stampendous Crystal Glitter around the edge and some ink. I like using soft, non-traditional colors for Christmas...how about you? Although, this would be a great card for the folks that don't send out actual Christmas cards....non-secular cards are very important too! Hello! Have I got a post for your today! I have five, that's right, FIVE ATCs to share with you today. I was so beyond inspired by this week's Wicked Wednesday sponsor, that I just couldn't help myself! So who is it? Vera Lane !
