Blog Land! Today, I give to you (almost by the skin of my teeth) a project made for the latest challenge (the Number of the Beast) of Haunted Design House . I know, I know...it's been ages and ages since I have played along. Not because I didn't want to, of course. But time just didn't allow me. Well, this time, I HAD to play. 666 was always a big number in my house...no really! My Dad had always found 666 to be a recurring number in his life. Weird, but true. His parking spot at work, it was on his license plate, and other unusual situations.  None of these things were sought out. In fact, when he had asked his job about the parking spot, they apologized and said they would change it. He insisted that they didn't. So I was excited to see this theme...though ironically, I paid no heed to the number factor of the challenge, only the "beast/devil" aspect of it..    I worked with As Death from Smeared Ink . At Dreamweaver Stencils, we love to make our monthly challenges something for everyone, and not so strict that no one wants to play along. This month our challenge is, "Old, New, Borrowed, Blue", with the obvious thought being a wedding theme...but not necessarily. Add an old embellishment or picture. Use a new stencil design or technique. Borrow, or CASE (copy and say everything) another designers project, and obviously, blue...is blue. Where will YOUR creative process take you for this month? Here's what I've created for this week... I worked with the beautiful Lotus stencil. I worked with a few colors of pigment ink from Color Box, applies with a stencil brush to the entire flower. Hello and welcome to the June 2014 Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop. I also have a new ATC  for Wicked Wednesday . This month, the hop theme was "Red Carpet Ready," and I wanted everyone to glam up their Bombshells as if they were going to walk the red carpet. Here's what I made. I used Bombshell Angel along with the Evening Bombshell digis for her outfit. I colored her with a combination of watercolor markers and alcohol markers. I love this dress, and I want it for myself. I was inspired by the dress that Angelina Jolie wore a couple of years ago that was emerald green. It popped so beautifully against the red carpet. My background was done with my Houndstooth stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils . I applied Copper Embossing Paste to the stencil and then sprinkled some pretty iridescent glitter on to the wet paste. Greetings! I have 3 projects to share with you today. Wednesdays can be super busy, huh? I have a new piece for Wicked Wednesday , A Step in the Dark , and Bombshell Stamps . For Wicked Wednesday, the challenge is Cartoons or Comics, and we are sponsored by Alicia Bell. I loved coloring this mermaid. I played with some soft colors that I don't always use together. I colored the image with alcohol markers. I love that she is combing her hair with a fork! The new challenge for A Step in the Dark is Anything Goes and/or Zombies. We have 3 sponsors...Limited Runs, Oddball Art, and he Stamping Chef. My ATC features an image from Oddball Art . My little zombie is also colored with alcohol markers. I used the fantastic Hot Air Balloon stencil and colored it up using the stunning Radiant Neon collection from Tsukineko. Each color of the neons has been used in the balloon. The Picasso Tool is a MUST have for tackling something like this. It masked off each section so perfectly for me. My sentiment is from the Birthday Words stencil, which is extremely versatile. Hello and welcome to another fun day of the Imagine Crafts and Dreamweaver Stencils collaboration! All week long, the folks on each of the Design Teams have been showcasing fun projects using products from both awesome companies. Here's my creation for today. I used the Sand Castle for my card. I used several colors of Versa Fine and a Memento ink to color the castle and the background. I used finger daubers for everything. Would you like to see the colors I used? These colors are fantastic. They are so rich and blend beautifully together. Before I inked my sky, I embossed the sand castle. I used Imagine Crafts' iRESISTibles spray to create the sand and on my main card. I just love the texture that spray creates! The fab ribbon I used (look like rippling water, right?) is from May Arts. I adore this ribbon! I didn't glue it down completely so that it had some movement. Below is the full link list for today. I have a bit of an obsession with flamingos, and now that I have the super rad Radiant Neon (I love neon as well!) ink colors from Imagine Crafts, I new I had to start the week using those inks, along with Dreamweaver Stencils' Flamingo stencil.  I used every color in the Neon collection to make my focal piece. Hello there! I have a new Dilly Beans challenge to share with you today. The new challenge is Masculine/For Dad. Here's my card. Couldn't you see a guy with lots of ink digging this? I love the Dilly Image I used. It's Sugar Skull Framed # 416. I colored it with alcohol markers.  My background was a blast to make. I used 3 stencils from Dreamweaver Stencils to sort of re-create the flower and swirl on the Dilly image.  I used Corner Flowers for the leaves, Amsterdam Flourish , and the Lotus as my focal flower. I used Versa Fine inks from Tsukineko and a couple of inks from Color Box. I applied them with a stencil brush and daubers, and added a layer of clear embossing powder on top. I cropped her quite a bit to work with my ATC so that she wouldn't be itty bitty. Steampunk is just so much fun! She was also colored with alcohol markers, and I used a fun cog punch plus some real watch parts. They make such fun embellishments. Happy June! I have 2 projects to share with you today. The first is for this month's Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday, and the second is for Desert Islands Crafters Challenge . This month, the Muse Monday set is Homeward Bound. This is a set I was a bit wary about, until I started to use it. I quickly fell in love with it, and it's now one of my favorites. I decided to go in a new direction and have the ship sailing in the rain. I purposely did not ink up the sun, to add to the bit of gloom I was trying to achieve. I used a lot of grays and some creams to mute down the colors. It was all colored with alcohol markers. I also clear embossed rain drops on top of the ship, as well as on my background by using the Rain stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils . The chain is from the Homeward Bound set as well. The set has several smaller images that are so fantastic. It's one of the reasons I love to use it. My fabulous ribbon is from May Arts . I didn't glue it down too
