Day 14 of the 31 Days of Halloween

Hello! Can you believe that we are halfway through the month already? I can't. It's Day 14 of the 31 Days of Halloween, and today I am sharing a card that is chock full of Stampendous goodies, and a few from Imagine as well!

I started off by rolling out Vineyard Kaleidacolor from Imagine with my brayer and a few spritzes of Ink Potion No. 9 to get the ink to flow better. Once I was happy with the background, I hit it with my heat tool to speed up drying time. Then I stamped Skeleton Lady from Stampendous with VersaMark ink, sprinkled some Detail Black embossing powder on top and heat set it.

After that, I stamped the Scrollwork Leaves around the edges. Then I embossed them with Twilight embossing powder. That powder really sparkles beautifully! Last on this layer, I spritzed some Desert Sand irRESISTable Spay. It adds some great texture and a bit of shine. On my card base, I sprinkled Aged Black embossing powder on the horizontal sides, and Seasonings powder on the vertical.

I love all the different colors and textures that are on this card. And the Skeleton Lady makes the whole thing super creepy. Tomorrow, I'll have another card using this Vineyard Kaleidacolor, but it will look totally different. Don't forget to visit the rest of the wicked Bloggers, they're all listed on my side bar. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creeptastic day!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga
