It doesn't just talk about the day's events, but contains lists, observations, conversations, musings, anything the writer feels like writing about really. 21st Century is because this is a modern pillow book, since it's done on a computer.
This is me. This is what my life is all about. I will let you into my head a bit... feel what I'm feeling, see what I'm creating, understand what I'm learning. Enjoy my journey right along with me!Alisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14948014058141347726noreply@blogger.comBlogger1779125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037727934837581305.post-51551524820470394622019-07-13T09:25:00.000-04:002019-07-13T09:25:28.622-04:00ChangesGreetings! I don't have a project to share with you today, but rather, an announcement.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOOht2df02yddmg0v7VP54I591KuUn8VyLs4yrDyfu39jVjUD-BDcFdmTNu2Zuz5-3mkFOKSBvMa2TMrqplXXsVjoMi8XHBzkjv03JOl_SC99JxmC1dXW28wyoVBMvxynZUxTmC3flWc-k/s1600/Change.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOOht2df02yddmg0v7VP54I591KuUn8VyLs4yrDyfu39jVjUD-BDcFdmTNu2Zuz5-3mkFOKSBvMa2TMrqplXXsVjoMi8XHBzkjv03JOl_SC99JxmC1dXW28wyoVBMvxynZUxTmC3flWc-k/s400/Change.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
I have decided to completely revamp my blog, and move it to a new site. I've been blogging at 21st Century Pillow Book for over 10 years now, and it's been wonderful. But the "Pillow Book" aspect got lost somewhere along the way. If you don't know what that is, read my description in the blog header, or do a quick search. They are really very cool.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I thought it was due time for me to work on a new blog, more of a brand, etc. So, I invite you to now join me over at <a href="http://alisonheikkila.com/">alisonheikkila.com</a>. I've still got some polishing up to do, and a whole lot of learning, as WordPress is completely different from Blogger, but I am really excited for this new site. I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I am happy to finally be getting it done. Bear with me as I figure out the best way to make it all look and flow. I thankfully have some help with that. But I think you'll like my new digs. Please be sure to subscribe so that you don't miss anything. I truly hope to see you there!<br />
<br />

Today I have a card that features the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/july-2019-mediterranean-dreams-limited-edition-subscription-kit">Mediterranean Dreams</a> Subscription Kit from White Rose Crafts. <span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">This fabulous Subscription Kit brings together sparkling, azure Mediterranean seas, sun-bleached shores and the rich colors of vibrant Mediterranean cultures in a carefully curated kit. I knew I just had to try the Jillibean Soup shaker card and I chose to use one of the stamps (from Kaisercraft) to make my background.</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyWoInQju9_v0C2qCSzclGQQVbGktJDvsTv08ZaaheykmXShWAhopnqOOwICXbLg7eTi2LOQheKwf_mL8QPVWA4ALvRjLEYFcJnadl8geFbKtVYUsNdVJ1JgwvlBHU7WgcPdj6fhVTdECp/s1600/Beach-Shaker-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1203" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyWoInQju9_v0C2qCSzclGQQVbGktJDvsTv08ZaaheykmXShWAhopnqOOwICXbLg7eTi2LOQheKwf_mL8QPVWA4ALvRjLEYFcJnadl8geFbKtVYUsNdVJ1JgwvlBHU7WgcPdj6fhVTdECp/s400/Beach-Shaker-1.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I stamped the seashell with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-tea-dye">Tea Dye</a> Distress Oxide all over the background of the card. Then I applied some <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-walnut-stain">Walnut Stain</a> Distress Oxide to my craft mat, spritzed it with some water, and splattered it on to my card base. Last, I inked the edges with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-salty-ocean">Salty Ocean</a> Distress Oxide with a Mini Blending Brush.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqxrA2pi75mbJFkFkP7FEMhrEF8sTvGwcKNjsV7zHTuBuDVlCzpOOBJ8Sc5HfWkVpFsk6Crtl_Wu0_TZ9Qpftj-WEBRQljWRR0NVXx3tBPbPmf9SdSzSJJcZvtOL0bWvQtZw8Hv9qS_kAv/s1600/Beach-Shaker-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1275" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqxrA2pi75mbJFkFkP7FEMhrEF8sTvGwcKNjsV7zHTuBuDVlCzpOOBJ8Sc5HfWkVpFsk6Crtl_Wu0_TZ9Qpftj-WEBRQljWRR0NVXx3tBPbPmf9SdSzSJJcZvtOL0bWvQtZw8Hv9qS_kAv/s400/Beach-Shaker-2.jpg" width="317" /></a></div>
For my sentiment, I die cut a stitched rectangle from my stash, out of the pearly yellow cardstock that came in the kit and stamped it with "Wish You Were Here" stamp from the same "Summer Splash" stamp set, with StazOn Pigment ink. And this had to be the easiest shaker I've ever made! The little window is pre-cut on the card base, and the plastic window already has adhesive on it, so you fill it and stick it! I of course used the accompanying Sparkle Blend called "Tropical." It's exclusive to the kit. Plus, I added the feet wooden charm from Kaisercraft.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Z5kO-Q87YQJVHn8TPCfo5P9Q3x5NgdTFpO0Xz0a8xbudf9Pspq7Q3fJ_RXl12-V02aSK_i0_gk4uLVp5PeF3-gJp60JjZOH2pXEaY1Aou6MwsfFWbCL1YqKaMV-vLgFUZV6_ElDWGau-/s1600/Beach-Shaker-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1117" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Z5kO-Q87YQJVHn8TPCfo5P9Q3x5NgdTFpO0Xz0a8xbudf9Pspq7Q3fJ_RXl12-V02aSK_i0_gk4uLVp5PeF3-gJp60JjZOH2pXEaY1Aou6MwsfFWbCL1YqKaMV-vLgFUZV6_ElDWGau-/s400/Beach-Shaker-3.jpg" width="278" /></a></div>
I love how quickly this card came together because of all the wonderful products in the kit. I kept this pretty simple and didn't even touch any of the stunning patterned papers yet. Wait until you see how great they are!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I've got a new shaker card to share with you today and it features the "<a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends">Storm Cloud</a>" Sparkle Blend from <a href="https://doodlespaperplayground.blogspot.com/">Doodles Paper Playground</a>.<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn8u6IK0DWF3OndrSPI_yH-47H4x5uchubxiRuz8MPu-OcWPxjrQUbge8Kr4N0TDUdkNhU0Q1oxyuTu0zWZkkc7cn_PA0nOX-tHNXmgOK8l8uHLTK6sCuzzCXg3PGf_l1y925ky-PaJheZ/s1600/Shark-Shaker-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1268" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn8u6IK0DWF3OndrSPI_yH-47H4x5uchubxiRuz8MPu-OcWPxjrQUbge8Kr4N0TDUdkNhU0Q1oxyuTu0zWZkkc7cn_PA0nOX-tHNXmgOK8l8uHLTK6sCuzzCXg3PGf_l1y925ky-PaJheZ/s400/Shark-Shaker-1.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
I think the <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/product-page/caffeinated-shark-clear-stamp-3x4">Caffeinated Shark</a> from <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/">The Rabbit Hole Designs</a> is just hilarious, and I knew that having a cloudy sky would just add to the bad morning this guy is clearly having. I had the <a href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/product-p/5100-12d.htm">Small Stitched Cloud</a> die from <a href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/default.asp">Rubbernecker Stamps</a> that I used to cut out my shaker panels. Then I used the <a href="https://www.tayloredexpressions.com/stencils/designer-stencils/go-with-the-flow-stencil.html">Go with the Flow</a> stencil from <a href="https://www.tayloredexpressions.com/">Taylored Expressions</a> for my water. I inked it with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products?keywords=salty+ocean">Salty Ocean</a> and <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-broken-china">Broken China</a> Distress Oxides. I then covered most of the stenciling with some vellum, to help it appear that the shark was actually in the water.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjVTQo2jfXF693gepTpCAfqyAg3GexDKx_5ghT5MYboAnLRsZ2Vq1bsijgGnInNftHH4Lvx1OxtotL2pFPQrsGGr9WJYljltjI5biUs6RIqSH1c6d5Y1_yM_N_qg9dwgGGCfo33lqdKeQm/s1600/Shark-Shaker-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1229" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjVTQo2jfXF693gepTpCAfqyAg3GexDKx_5ghT5MYboAnLRsZ2Vq1bsijgGnInNftHH4Lvx1OxtotL2pFPQrsGGr9WJYljltjI5biUs6RIqSH1c6d5Y1_yM_N_qg9dwgGGCfo33lqdKeQm/s400/Shark-Shaker-2.jpg" width="306" /></a></div>
Awww, look at him.....he's so sad. I hope he's got coffee in the pot! I colored the shark with Zig Clean Color Markers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr06hjoKPRsdhF-tNGQcFHeOnN78gN-yFscVjg3WZZ7S9pmPeS11ZL8psfEw_QvC_chpPBrBqPnW23sZM-cKgbPLlHW-Ckv6MnxeTxI_Ampra0LJ-iR3-tAw3tOWtQyqYhQ9ULACQxXyMc/s1600/Shark-Shaker-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1397" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr06hjoKPRsdhF-tNGQcFHeOnN78gN-yFscVjg3WZZ7S9pmPeS11ZL8psfEw_QvC_chpPBrBqPnW23sZM-cKgbPLlHW-Ckv6MnxeTxI_Ampra0LJ-iR3-tAw3tOWtQyqYhQ9ULACQxXyMc/s400/Shark-Shaker-4.jpg" width="348" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You can see the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends">Storm Cloud</a> Sparkle Blend here. It's got deep blues, grays, dusty purples, silver, and opalescent whites. It's really lovely. I happen to love the dusty tones it has...it's very different from what you would normally see in a sequin mix. I stamped the sentiment with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/versafine-clair-ink-pad-twilight">Twilight </a>colored ink from the VersaFine Clair line. I love the deep rich blue that it is. I made my card base out of gray cardstock and inked the bottom edge with more Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGtgPiR8URN_lzYkx0aLZOUR2rvT6PIfkyD3Cqo37jn6uUZrZD0ajo-3IZSc-UqtZ0z5Kw4u5ETD9ITGWjCUhp5su8rBhCk5apfOmWUFphRYHp5KNvyJWYSXow2G9epTKIIB0iQJJhY4GK/s1600/Shark-Shaker-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1210" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGtgPiR8URN_lzYkx0aLZOUR2rvT6PIfkyD3Cqo37jn6uUZrZD0ajo-3IZSc-UqtZ0z5Kw4u5ETD9ITGWjCUhp5su8rBhCk5apfOmWUFphRYHp5KNvyJWYSXow2G9epTKIIB0iQJJhY4GK/s400/Shark-Shaker-3.jpg" width="301" /></a></div>
I think this came out super cute, and I loved combining different products from a variety of companies. The <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends">Storm Cloud</a> Sparkle Blend started it all, though. You've got to grab one for yourself! Head on over to <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts LLC</a> to see all of the available Sparkle Blends from <a href="https://doodlespaperplayground.blogspot.com/">Doodles Paper Playground</a>. Have you seen the latest Stampendous stamps? The July catalog is out and the stamps have been loaded to the web site! Trust me, if you love Christmas and Halloween, you will not want to miss this release. We are going to begin by celebrating Christmas in July. My card today is one of my favorites that I made for this release. I live on Long Island, so the beach is never far away. I thought this image was really lovely, and although I wouldn't want to spend Christmas on a Long Island beach (it is waaaay too cold!), I do think it would be fun somewhere tropical. My full instructions are below.<br />

Be sure to head over to <a href="https://stampendous.com/">Stampendous </a>to see what else is new. You can visit the <a href="https://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Stampendous Blog</a> to see what the rest of the team has come up with too. I'll be back with another Christmas in July post later this week. Thanks for stopping by. This post today is part of a very special blog hop. We are celebrating the life of an amazingly talented artist and friend. The crafting community lost <a href="http://ajsdesignartz.com/blog/">Aletha Jane Williams</a> on May 5, 2019. Those of us that worked with her on Design Teams or on Challenge Blogs all agree that she was one of the sweetest and most talented women we knew. We are not here to mourn her loss though. This hop is happening in conjunction with a very special celebration of her life and her art that her husband Bob is holding in her home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Please join us in honoring our incredibly creative friend <a href="http://ajsdesignartz.com/blog/">Aletha</a>.<br />

My card features the "Remembering Aletha" Sprite, which Mitzi (owner and artist of <a href="https://www.aurorawings.com/#/">Aurora Wings</a>) created specifically for this hop. She is generously giving the digi away to all, over on her blog. This sweet Sprite looks so much like Aletha, and I know she would have been honored. If you download this digi for yourself, please be sure to give a huge "thank you" to Mitzi, and consider shopping over at <a href="https://www.aurorawings.com/#/">Aurora Wings</a>.<br />

I colored her with Zig Clean Color Markers and fussy cut her out. I love that Mitzi gave her a painter's palette, so I decided to create my background with the palette from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero May Kit. I colored and watercolored the background in to coordinate with the palette Aletha is holding.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG3txjCBkNBaXTE9eT5JVxq5WCI1FD7cwn_LKHJBhRY8-xAxCVMl4qqPD23fcXTDMugQ3hyLdT3NBT1ACG2-MqbVeHRwKv0XfIHHbg3WBozvKknm3kEFPjI7Xc2vASwTuKSxrBOVsK1RLI/s1600/Aletha-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1189" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG3txjCBkNBaXTE9eT5JVxq5WCI1FD7cwn_LKHJBhRY8-xAxCVMl4qqPD23fcXTDMugQ3hyLdT3NBT1ACG2-MqbVeHRwKv0XfIHHbg3WBozvKknm3kEFPjI7Xc2vASwTuKSxrBOVsK1RLI/s400/Aletha-3.jpg" width="296" /></a></div>
I needed a special sentiment for this card, so I chose two from Altenew's <a href="https://altenew.com/products/crafty-friends-stamp-set">Crafty Friends</a> stamp set. If I was able to give this card to Aletha, the sentiment would have been perfect. She was truly an inspiration to so many other crafters. I needed to give this card some sparkle, so I used some sequins from Doodles Paper Playground's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-spring-fling">Spring Fling</a> and <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-mardi-gras-parade">Mardi Gras Parade</a> Sparkle Blends. The colors worked perfectly with the rest of the card.<br />

Losing someone you care for is never easy. And when you've touched the lives of so many, it seems that although the world understands, that void will never be filled and it's hard to cope. It makes me sad that we never got to meet in person, although we did chat on the phone a couple of times. Aletha blessed us with her talent and kindness, and I will try not to mourn, but to instead celebrate her life and creativity. Below is the full hop list. Thank you so much for joining us today, as we honor <a href="http://ajsdesignartz.com/">Aletha</a>. Have an inspiring day.<br />

Today and occasionally going forward I will have a special guest designer (or two!) on my blog. My daughter Rhiannon is now a Designing Mini Diva for <a href="https://doodlespaperplayground.blogspot.com/">Doodles Paper Playground</a>, and she is beyond thrilled. Rhiannon is 10, and if you've been a follower of mine, you'll know that I love to craft with my kids. Rhiannon has become quite the talented artist, and Amber asked her to join our Design Team to help encourage kids to get crafty. So, here is her very first post, written by her (and overseen by me). She created this card completely on her own, and it's even more beautiful in person.<br />
<br />
Hi, I'm Rhiannon. I started this card because I love the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-unicorn-dreams">Unicorn Dreams</a> Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. I love the unicorns and the beads in it. I like that the colors are pink, purple, and blue, which are my unicorn colors. I stamped and die cut the unicorn, and then colored it with Arteza markers. Then I die cut a window for my shaker out of black cardstock and painted it. I used Twinkle H2O's because they're really nice on black and they sparkle a lot.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_VaET72kV8cRLhDIF6OXOsJuF84snzkMZHB0Vdd-exlBBIxkFqPgoTdUkRm51N4aVeh7x7-ceOL50IvtKi_oL0ma3BBphmYgbVq2fXIgjEt5W1bFwfnUNlQoHsqHwWvaDhAUqGzAQ_8_3/s1600/Rhi-Unicorn-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1284" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_VaET72kV8cRLhDIF6OXOsJuF84snzkMZHB0Vdd-exlBBIxkFqPgoTdUkRm51N4aVeh7x7-ceOL50IvtKi_oL0ma3BBphmYgbVq2fXIgjEt5W1bFwfnUNlQoHsqHwWvaDhAUqGzAQ_8_3/s400/Rhi-Unicorn-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next step I did was attach acetate to the window, and put foam tape on the back of the window. I cut out the background out of pink cardstock and put the unicorn on to the background. Then I put the Sparkle Blend on top of the unicorn and took off the back of the foam tape, and put the window down.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_924Nza_yocrz3g79y3i3725rC7TMv5izclZt6riyipykYxrFWklm_TeSa3KdVJIthc6uKdYh0oUqW7FwQxTxUTZj5852xDT95uvC1hprVUTt94DjAUUfemJRe_5zrfokiweMKWjeKH46/s1600/Rhi-Unicorn-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1208" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_924Nza_yocrz3g79y3i3725rC7TMv5izclZt6riyipykYxrFWklm_TeSa3KdVJIthc6uKdYh0oUqW7FwQxTxUTZj5852xDT95uvC1hprVUTt94DjAUUfemJRe_5zrfokiweMKWjeKH46/s400/Rhi-Unicorn-2.jpg" width="301" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I cut out a standard size card out of white cardstock, and put some Distress Oxides on it. I used Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet. I applied it by lightly dragging the corner of the ink pad around the edges of the card. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Q1hHTRhmYAT-rqL2sc5D_uJrNCluRmMnF6VmZDSchZ6OJo8tvjLGx8z1qvvslJDxaF3OqZ7VsiMnAle4AKiZq0RUjvkaX_3j04h9KMtBpCezLfWpXA1HfZgxLVLK4_vQEkrldMhSWe5V/s1600/Rhi-Unicorn-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1182" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Q1hHTRhmYAT-rqL2sc5D_uJrNCluRmMnF6VmZDSchZ6OJo8tvjLGx8z1qvvslJDxaF3OqZ7VsiMnAle4AKiZq0RUjvkaX_3j04h9KMtBpCezLfWpXA1HfZgxLVLK4_vQEkrldMhSWe5V/s400/Rhi-Unicorn-3.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After I finished making the card base, I put the shaker on top. I used a very thick foam tape (from Brutus Monroe) to help make the big beads move in the shaker.Unicorn Dreams is one of my favorite Sparkle Blends. I love unicorns, so this card was fun to make. I like how the card came out because it's both shiny and opaque. A special thanks to Amber for having me as a guest designer. I am really excited to do this. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Back to Alison.... Not bad for her first post, huh? I love this card! She spent a lot of time working on that shaker frame, and it looks fantastic. You can get the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-unicorn-dreams">Unicorn Dreams</a> Sparkle Blend from the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts</a> shop. WRC is the exclusive retailer for Sparkle Blends, which are all limited edition. You can use my code, "Alison 15" to save 15% off of your purchase. I would love it if you could leave some kind words of encouragement for Rhiannon as she starts on this new adventure of being a Mini Diva. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day! </div>

I have a fun, summery shaker card featuring three Sparkle Blends from <a href="https://doodlespaperplayground.blogspot.com/">Doodles Paper Playground</a> to share with you today. I love ice cream, especially in the summer, and the Lawn Fawn <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/lawn-fawn-clear-stamps-sweetest-flavor">Sweetest Flavor</a> stamps are just perfect for what I wanted to create.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLxuZJXpZZNaEnDtf5xegSTE8te2JnW8OqfySMlepsFldj7eWHI7NSbQRaGJKKkaxDImTGe1Qiux-z3fYwYW_vuvtglNq85kFS9USavIVjHIDMbOuCNTYfg_UyawbKj_0mfOwJ4_oq6qiR/s1600/Ice-Cream-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1282" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLxuZJXpZZNaEnDtf5xegSTE8te2JnW8OqfySMlepsFldj7eWHI7NSbQRaGJKKkaxDImTGe1Qiux-z3fYwYW_vuvtglNq85kFS9USavIVjHIDMbOuCNTYfg_UyawbKj_0mfOwJ4_oq6qiR/s400/Ice-Cream-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I started off by stamping my 3 focal ice cream cones with VersaFine Clair ink in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/versafine-clair-ink-pad-nocturne">Nocturne</a>. Then, I stamped the rest of my cones all over the background with <a href="https://www.imaginecrafts.com/memento/color-swatch/6C6F70#swatch">Gray Flannel</a> Memento Ink. I filled in the empty spaces with hearts, and gave all of the background ice cream happy faces. I also added my sentiments with Nocturne ink from the Lawn Fawn <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/lawn-fawn-clear-stamps-reveal-wheel-sentiments">Reveal Wheel Sentiments</a> (the original set).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmsoetLpSBoUsl1APKI0ST9z1fSbS8OTW0Y16h9g_b7A4sh7vKE5Ec8TWB6OvmaaIfmQQ5yp6Li5fKe6BkQg6cxk9oaE9K5O8LmVPkYN6sbE-sUwlO9pEahvxuOH7lXSiDPSpdIxw3Dl6i/s1600/Ice-Cream-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmsoetLpSBoUsl1APKI0ST9z1fSbS8OTW0Y16h9g_b7A4sh7vKE5Ec8TWB6OvmaaIfmQQ5yp6Li5fKe6BkQg6cxk9oaE9K5O8LmVPkYN6sbE-sUwlO9pEahvxuOH7lXSiDPSpdIxw3Dl6i/s400/Ice-Cream-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Next, I carefully lined up the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/lawn-cuts-custom-craft-die-reveal-wheel-sweetest-flavor-add-on">Sweetest Flavor Reveal Wheel Add-On Die</a> that cuts out the center of the ice cream, on each of my three focal cones. I adhered some acetate to the back, and then foam tape from Brutus Monroe to the entire back of my shaker panel. I decided to go with a patriotic color scheme, because it just added to that summery vibe. I used the new <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-july-birthstone-collection-ruby">Ruby </a>and <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-june-birthstone-collection-pearl">Pearl </a>Sparkle Blends, as well as Blue Over You, which was previously released. I also colored the cones using Desert Sand and Rich Cocoa <a href="https://www.imaginecrafts.com/memento">Memento markers</a>. This took about a minute to do. Super fast! I added some plain white cardstock behind my shaker windows to seal them up, and applied the panel to a gray card base. I am really loving gray card bases lately. Do you ever change up your base color?<br />

Something I really like about making small shakers is that you can use up the last bits you may have left from a Sparkle Blend. Also, small shakers give you the opportunity to have lots of different Sparkle Blends all on one project.<br />

Hello! I love House Mouse Designs, so I was excited that the Stampendous team was sharing projects featuring these little sweeties this week. I decided to work with <a href="https://stampendous.com/shop/whats-new/dragonfly-ride-rubber-stamp/">Dragonfly Ride</a>, and have them flying through the air with a <a href="https://stampendous.com/shop/whats-new/meadows-edge-perfectly-clear-stamps-set/">Meadow's Edge</a> backgrounds. I am entering this card into the House Mouse & Friends <a href="http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/2019/06/hmfmc-293-mid-way-reminder-anything.html">Challenge #293</a>, which is "Summer Fun."</div>

This was such a fun card to put together. I love creating scenes with the <a href="https://stampendous.com/shop/whats-new/meadows-edge-perfectly-clear-stamps-set/">Meadow's Edge</a> stamps, and adding the little House Mouse stamp on top with foam really created a fun little scene. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Stampendous Team to see what they've been creating with House Mouse Designs over on the <a href="https://stampendousblog.wordpress.com/">Blog</a>. Thanks for stopping by. It's time for the June Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends Release Hop! There are 6 glorious new Sparkle Blends, and the Designer Divas are going to be sharing projects using them. Be sure to head over to the Doodles Paper Playground Blog to get all of the details on the new Sparkle Blends and the hop info. My card today uses the gorgeous and seriously magical <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-unicorn-dreams">Unicorn Dreams</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwCooe8zbl9rvBakWet_oq61LfW3iz59FY6EsEYl3GY-BHpEefmLgUNYLcX40w-a10EcP_S6QK2oU4VMOtcaL6aeAG_flP8fb0psjzoZS69PJWgwCSIOL5_wsC3enMMNaHzRsyL0o2BLnV/s1600/Butterfly-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1305" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwCooe8zbl9rvBakWet_oq61LfW3iz59FY6EsEYl3GY-BHpEefmLgUNYLcX40w-a10EcP_S6QK2oU4VMOtcaL6aeAG_flP8fb0psjzoZS69PJWgwCSIOL5_wsC3enMMNaHzRsyL0o2BLnV/s400/Butterfly-1.jpg" width="326" /></a></div>
I started off with a scrap piece of <a href="https://www.thermowebonline.com/p/deco-foil-transfer-sheets-rainbow-shattered-glass">Rainbow Shattered Glass</a> DecoFoil from Therm O Web. I had already applied it to a piece of cardstock with double sided sheet tape. I stamped my butterfly (from Stampendous' <a href="https://stampendous.com/shop/stamps/stamp-sets-with-cutting-dies/lilac-cling-rubber-stamp-set-/">Cling Lilac</a> stamp set) with StazOn Pigment ink in <a href="https://www.thermowebonline.com/p/deco-foil-transfer-sheets-rainbow-shattered-glass">Piano Black</a> and then used the coordinating die cut on it. Because the butterfly was all turquoise, Unicorn Dreams was really the perfect Blend for my shaker.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW6N7-vIqKGM3yyhVF1mbNeNbAug7RhSvhxvdCnMB6s0PF7hl9lICrKolb2yZXDR41bcThtb33meEoserXOOLJE8ATPwiRXlrSM8dXmyEYUZ2r15JjTqWlCbcW3-Dc116L7VqAUAeviYMD/s1600/Butterfly-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1349" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW6N7-vIqKGM3yyhVF1mbNeNbAug7RhSvhxvdCnMB6s0PF7hl9lICrKolb2yZXDR41bcThtb33meEoserXOOLJE8ATPwiRXlrSM8dXmyEYUZ2r15JjTqWlCbcW3-Dc116L7VqAUAeviYMD/s400/Butterfly-2.jpg" width="336" /></a></div>
Look at those fabulous colors in Unicorn Dreams! There's pinks, purples, turquoise, <i>plus </i>unicorn heads and full unicorns! Ooh, and I can't forget to mention the stars.....they're just beautiful. I cut my shaker window out of gray cardstock with an Elizabeth Crafts die and backed the window with a scrap piece of paper from K & Co.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9s6KnEF8PPO697qSxGNysLmOE4DAWU76BfmeP4LdgC1HsyrU9wnKyF4Ay2nsVHuN1qr2OyWBj2p9kC-QbkpJJ7Md8D4XpnIq3G7dU7e2vZJmwdI4YdgtqETBer7WtrMRieLQ45wExZQLH/s1600/Butterfly-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1171" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9s6KnEF8PPO697qSxGNysLmOE4DAWU76BfmeP4LdgC1HsyrU9wnKyF4Ay2nsVHuN1qr2OyWBj2p9kC-QbkpJJ7Md8D4XpnIq3G7dU7e2vZJmwdI4YdgtqETBer7WtrMRieLQ45wExZQLH/s400/Butterfly-3.jpg" width="292" /></a></div>
I really love the Sugar Script dies from Birch Press Designs, and I used their <a href="https://birchpressdesign.com/big-thanks-sugar-script.html">Big Thanks</a> dies with purple cardstock for the bottom layer and a cool houndstooth print for the top. I also added a few sequins from the Unicorn Dreams Sparkle Blend to the top of my card with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/imagine-crafts-on-point-glue-1-fl-oz">On Point Glue</a> from Imagine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxNih_uxtyRS8PLKKF6wWG7GQixdIzaq6Rrx7aMzPNLdQGiiw2-RwWSGNTt7NParLyqhQcq50etmPEFMxRzpkXrflQA95CeXDu5lJqiRa8YS2_NhlAzXY4NoqtlBHpvkO3Z0MbPI0SKeMV/s1600/Butterfly-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1395" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxNih_uxtyRS8PLKKF6wWG7GQixdIzaq6Rrx7aMzPNLdQGiiw2-RwWSGNTt7NParLyqhQcq50etmPEFMxRzpkXrflQA95CeXDu5lJqiRa8YS2_NhlAzXY4NoqtlBHpvkO3Z0MbPI0SKeMV/s400/Butterfly-4.jpg" width="348" /></a></div>
I just love the colors on this card and in this Sparkle Blend. Mixing the patterns gives the card a lot of interest too, even though it is a fairly clean and simple design. Please be sure to join the Sparkle Blends Fan Club on Facebook to get a replay of my "FB Live" from last week. I'll be doing another one very soon on the Doodles Paper Playground main page, and I hope you'll join me. Be sure to go through the entire hop and leave some love along the way to get a chance to win some Sparkle Blends. And if you just can't wait, head over to the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts LLC</a> shop to grab some. You can use my code, "Alison 15" to get 15% off of your purchase. Below is the full hop list. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!<br />

This week, the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts </a>Team is sharing projects made with products from ScrapBerry. ScrapBerry has a lot of lovely, feminine items, but I decided to go with a more masculine vibe for my card today. Though to be perfectly honest, I know a lot of ladies that would love this card and style, including my mom.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimw1ubgutGKYELm8T3yzt50XJH1JAA8L_9dlSjC0ACJU2VyipuA5cEydC6BuNU6pdyZdEukWUvrK-CBQljJFLxw10e5w8nYlGct_klENctSR4D8v4zQ_IHHMepMEkI8Aszw5AVVMz7sCQX/s1600/Scrapberry-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1285" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimw1ubgutGKYELm8T3yzt50XJH1JAA8L_9dlSjC0ACJU2VyipuA5cEydC6BuNU6pdyZdEukWUvrK-CBQljJFLxw10e5w8nYlGct_klENctSR4D8v4zQ_IHHMepMEkI8Aszw5AVVMz7sCQX/s400/Scrapberry-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I started off by choosing one of the papers from the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/scrapberrys-edge-of-town-paper-pack-6x6-12pkg">Edge of Town</a> paper pack. This particular paper has subtle circuitry and gears on it. I thought it paired perfectly with the gears stencil from Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-designer-template-12x12-grunge">Grunge </a>stencil set. For the stencil, I applied Nuvo Expanding Mousse in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/nuvo-expanding-mousse-old-linen">Worn Linen </a>with a palette knife. I heated the Mousse to give it some texture.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioge2mNxhrqd7wc8ezv4S39NKBA_Bsf7VTE7Y-pBbbNHurGxCiOKjKVVWwFac1dugNXRC5pe5nEptGInXbxDFBjXcwL1GaROcQPlnJvAobEzugn1BRuehyphenhyphen98RZ2-usuuG0suo79MoaGFtb/s1600/Scrapberry-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1276" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioge2mNxhrqd7wc8ezv4S39NKBA_Bsf7VTE7Y-pBbbNHurGxCiOKjKVVWwFac1dugNXRC5pe5nEptGInXbxDFBjXcwL1GaROcQPlnJvAobEzugn1BRuehyphenhyphen98RZ2-usuuG0suo79MoaGFtb/s400/Scrapberry-3.jpg" width="318" /></a></div>
Next, I applied some of ScrapBerry's Stains ink in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/scrapberry-stains-ink-pad-mini-blue">Blue </a>to my media mat, spritzed it with some water, and splattered it on to my background with a brush. After it dried completely, I inked up a stamp from Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-greenhouse-clear-stamps-6x4">Greenhouse stamp set </a>with the Stains ink in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/scrapberry-stains-ink-pad-mini-black">Black</a>, I needed to let the Blue ink dry first since this ink is so reactive with water, and I didn't want to ruin my sentiment.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkkDwARxh3M_R-f32dqM1xouoLNvoyK32jYDSLwrlKohs9zr4E23wQWduySwcC5qzxnNapcHsfIUa_oG71ejN_tk_OnZb7orh_CHmq0rUbprNbX5G4mp8HYuDOJDotDm7LeHCqcdSjyXuk/s1600/Scrapberry-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1211" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkkDwARxh3M_R-f32dqM1xouoLNvoyK32jYDSLwrlKohs9zr4E23wQWduySwcC5qzxnNapcHsfIUa_oG71ejN_tk_OnZb7orh_CHmq0rUbprNbX5G4mp8HYuDOJDotDm7LeHCqcdSjyXuk/s400/Scrapberry-2.jpg" width="302" /></a></div>
I wrapped the background with some twine that I had in my stash. I took my cream colored card base and applied the same splatter technique to it, but with the Black Stains ink. Then I mounted my background on to it.<br />

I love the texture and the aged look of this card. It cold be used for a variety of occasions too, which I like. The Edge of Town paper pack has some really wonderful papers, and I look forward to using them in other projects soon. Today I am sharing a scrapbook page that I made with the June Sketch Challenge from White Rose Crafts. I challenged myself at the beginning of the year to do each of the sketches as a scrapbook page, and so far, I've accomplished that. I turned this month's sketch on it's side to make it work with my photos.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNPRbTBYipGH4E1kVguNhvVMAwM-_4-eyIIv6D7DPJ_P_ti9i6msv_2pMWL1nQHu0QhUbzb5TCI5i-OSfV6yk_vXg5K8yyeCjUpI6HDHbhh5R6_rkmnv3dasyElNzFttnQMin9iau1L7AE/s1600/Wood-Burning-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1428" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNPRbTBYipGH4E1kVguNhvVMAwM-_4-eyIIv6D7DPJ_P_ti9i6msv_2pMWL1nQHu0QhUbzb5TCI5i-OSfV6yk_vXg5K8yyeCjUpI6HDHbhh5R6_rkmnv3dasyElNzFttnQMin9iau1L7AE/s400/Wood-Burning-1.jpg" width="356" /></a></div>
These pictures are back from 2014 when we first gave my son a wood burning tool. His first creation was a phoenix, and he did a really fantastic job. So that's what this page is about. To make the page, I used a piece of purple cardstock that matched his shirt nicely. Then I chose a piece of patterned paper from Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-kaleidoscope-paper-pad-65x65-40pkg">Kaleidoscope</a> paper pad to go behind the smaller photo and the journaling box.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifVRPggtAsCeL6oKmueM-UmP_nQSC_S1XaexAZQhWzdN4DienIdOub_f1rjW2v9NVAMly8w7JUT5LtRoBbuDQhPIrTkUeDrEoY2yNfZ8jJy1-GmP1WKO2kGgHJlr1FHm-fJmNlhCt0INAk/s1600/Wood-Burning-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifVRPggtAsCeL6oKmueM-UmP_nQSC_S1XaexAZQhWzdN4DienIdOub_f1rjW2v9NVAMly8w7JUT5LtRoBbuDQhPIrTkUeDrEoY2yNfZ8jJy1-GmP1WKO2kGgHJlr1FHm-fJmNlhCt0INAk/s400/Wood-Burning-3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
For the journaling box, I used an old piece of platinum metallic vellum that I had in my stash. I thought it went really well with the Nuvo Expanding Mousse in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/nuvo-expanding-mousse-old-linen">Worn Linen</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij99y0OFnvBowKwgcOt9WjvnveLR7RkxSJ9CiiExm524QFkF0W-1LzMIq8kBTDr6RmKht5ir9S-1jh4psELmGYJSHHJjKHKLF5K0PF2vRO0pJF_E2F2-Ca_sXIgxk8wcY8WD5rkhuZZHFr/s1600/Wood-Burning-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij99y0OFnvBowKwgcOt9WjvnveLR7RkxSJ9CiiExm524QFkF0W-1LzMIq8kBTDr6RmKht5ir9S-1jh4psELmGYJSHHJjKHKLF5K0PF2vRO0pJF_E2F2-Ca_sXIgxk8wcY8WD5rkhuZZHFr/s400/Wood-Burning-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I used the Studio Light "<a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/studio-light-mixed-media-rainbow-designs-stencils-circles-pluses">Circles & Pluses</a>" stencil with the Nuvo Mousse all around the edges of my layout. I heated the Mousse up with my heat tool to get it to expand.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP-VBBMegv8xJhLkG52q2CXWOlCXTT9LSPG76E_Rnn2P5Vur7hpvO1YUVUrbkkuy8l6BkB75RCnnq-lHsAvk1G2dS7B1vGftCjRw7yi-iRTWuJkBh4w2ThO4eX9UMpuWcWuNIjl5kJQy-b/s1600/Wood-Burning-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP-VBBMegv8xJhLkG52q2CXWOlCXTT9LSPG76E_Rnn2P5Vur7hpvO1YUVUrbkkuy8l6BkB75RCnnq-lHsAvk1G2dS7B1vGftCjRw7yi-iRTWuJkBh4w2ThO4eX9UMpuWcWuNIjl5kJQy-b/s400/Wood-Burning-4.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I also added a strip of houndstooth patterned paper, called "<a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/american-crafts-haunted-hollow-double-sided-cardstock-12x12-caution">Caution</a>" and several sequins from the "<a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends">Storm Cloud</a>" Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. I attached them with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/imagine-crafts-on-point-glue-1-fl-oz">On Point Glue</a> from Imagine. I love playing along with sketch challenges. I found this one to be a little tricky to translate into a scrapbook page, but the challenge is a big part of the fun, right? If you'd like to play along, please head over to the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/379322762527016/">White Rose Crafts Gallery</a> on Facebook to join in. And be sure to hit the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">WRC</a> shop to browse some of the many amazing products they carry. I've got a shaker card to share with you today that has a brand-spankin' new Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground in it. I am featuring "Ruby" which is part of the Birthstone Collection. July babies rejoice! Your Sparkle Blend has arrived! This card was inspired by a few things. Of course, the Ruby Blend started the process. I also recently watched one of Mary Polanco's latest YouTube videos, where she admits to being stuck in a crafty rut, but she pushed through and made some spectacular cards. Her cards featured the May <a href="https://heroarts.com/pages/subscribe">My Monthly Hero Kit</a> from <a href="https://heroarts.com/">Hero Arts</a>. I have that kit, and I was really loving her all green card. You can check out Mary's YouTube Video <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUNxhkHDriE&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR2ZEMSSE6dCzlPpbDs-CdrsODd9-3gOzefOxB75L1W3INQYh351BrdsGYE">HERE</a>, and the corresponding blog post <a href="https://marypolancodesigns.blogspot.com/2019/05/hero-arts-may-2019-card-kit-how-i-got.html">HERE</a>. She has a ton of wonderful ideas. Also, if I am being totally honest, "The Red" from Chevelle was also an inspiration here. I love that band, and that song, so as soon as I saw this Blend, my mind immediately went there.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg21-cQChpGfhpCX46iYGp_rpmYNwS5mJEBHWEVCvIhkXhuCdb4sRwCMemWGfRHW21lBEOQCP5aa8Xj5xV-ZUezwvUgXVL2DRcmpNET7TeYjB6gC7oDkBfVowFjgSQTW17xGNg3REIOvvCe/s1600/The-Red-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1289" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg21-cQChpGfhpCX46iYGp_rpmYNwS5mJEBHWEVCvIhkXhuCdb4sRwCMemWGfRHW21lBEOQCP5aa8Xj5xV-ZUezwvUgXVL2DRcmpNET7TeYjB6gC7oDkBfVowFjgSQTW17xGNg3REIOvvCe/s400/The-Red-1.jpg" width="321" /></a></div>
I started off by stamping a ton of images from the MMH Kit with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne on to Smooth Bristol Cardstock. I used all of the reds in my Zig Clean Color Marker set. I colored everything in and then die cut them all. Then I die cut my window with an Elizabeth Crafts Designs circle die and I started to arrange my bits and pieces around the window.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHoCkUcWqZcUUdN4g75xC-pkZFpctBtKX4Yuc8T_-aL-3pWPxn1UdGwZfWl4itHXF8dEn_uwvel__-kcyI0gelgX5BRwJ2HZtIpzzvnr8jc9DyS9uIxvVZnkBA7A_wTJc37CNdsca5XiBS/s1600/The-Red-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHoCkUcWqZcUUdN4g75xC-pkZFpctBtKX4Yuc8T_-aL-3pWPxn1UdGwZfWl4itHXF8dEn_uwvel__-kcyI0gelgX5BRwJ2HZtIpzzvnr8jc9DyS9uIxvVZnkBA7A_wTJc37CNdsca5XiBS/s400/The-Red-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
You can see in the photo above, just how rich the red tones are in this Blend. It's filled with rich, true, ruby tones in different shapes, textures and sizes. There are small beads, mini gems, and tiny flowers inside. It's a stunning mix that will be perfect for holiday cards, patriotic cards, July birthday cards or, just for those who love red, like me! I used the <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/">Brutus Monroe</a> <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/products/brutus-monroe-foam-tape-108-feet">Foam Tape</a> to seal my shaker layer. This tape is 1/8" thick, so everything moves freely in the window, except for that one bead that's hanging out...you'll see it in the photo below. I actually like that it's stuck there, since I chose to leave the background all white this time around.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZ8Kn9l69tqR9BfbTGJMiRMFl_vPLDz41gmazJQQMO4zLkDFdbFP0Hi8cungD0t4U-V9dLT7PWWWucblNaNzz8QCQ6bj-8VvhUKdOxNivo7ZprnZrm7H8kLyJRW1UBaTs_MCKcyBbF6nPI/s1600/The-Red-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1140" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZ8Kn9l69tqR9BfbTGJMiRMFl_vPLDz41gmazJQQMO4zLkDFdbFP0Hi8cungD0t4U-V9dLT7PWWWucblNaNzz8QCQ6bj-8VvhUKdOxNivo7ZprnZrm7H8kLyJRW1UBaTs_MCKcyBbF6nPI/s400/The-Red-4.jpg" width="285" /></a></div>
You can see how high my shaker panel is elevated off of the card base, and that's just one layer of the foam tape! I finished the card off with one of the wonderful sentiments in the MMH Kit.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh08n9P4g2NDOmCCmL6D4mIsTW3lCM6w8XCuRHU4YSiyaIhDBOMsnD40tHQUeo9T14LT5vbfJzujiQz3D_xR_S8i9A0IawUqjAxjz6Iw-VkpwAC3xlwZSgN48NDWd9MFcNIKIz0eAMOdOOX/s1600/The-Red-5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1410" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh08n9P4g2NDOmCCmL6D4mIsTW3lCM6w8XCuRHU4YSiyaIhDBOMsnD40tHQUeo9T14LT5vbfJzujiQz3D_xR_S8i9A0IawUqjAxjz6Iw-VkpwAC3xlwZSgN48NDWd9MFcNIKIz0eAMOdOOX/s400/The-Red-5.jpg" width="351" /></a></div>
This card was a total blast to make, and I think I may make one for every color of the rainbow. Wouldn't that make a fun gift? And there are certainly enough Sparkle Blends to choose from to make this idea work. And if I keep the arrangement the same, it should be a pretty fast process. I can't wait to show you projects using the rest of the new Sparkle Blends. They aren't available in the White Rose Crafts shop just yet...there are some BIG changes happening right now! But I'll be sure to let you know when they are live and ready to be purchased. But for now, why not head over to the WRC site anyway to see all of the other available Sparkle Blends? Be sure to use my coupon code, "Alison 15" to save 15% off of your purchase. Thanks so much for stopping by. It's officially June and that means there are NEW Sparkle Blends! Six new Blends are getting released this month, and they are total stunners! I am sharing one of them with you today, and I can't wait for you to see the rest.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaBgSxEqm0zE598CFv3dhynqq4GL-UBZ7aJW1toCMFm726EPGLWPedLgEhOTgRL5hl-Eo3yJjV3BKJncrFpY7-18lEJ8qiAnbv1URQ05Xxnh33dmoZU2b71nDyIUANKMFAfglx-a3UFPir/s1600/Mermazing-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1312" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaBgSxEqm0zE598CFv3dhynqq4GL-UBZ7aJW1toCMFm726EPGLWPedLgEhOTgRL5hl-Eo3yJjV3BKJncrFpY7-18lEJ8qiAnbv1URQ05Xxnh33dmoZU2b71nDyIUANKMFAfglx-a3UFPir/s400/Mermazing-1.jpg" width="327" /></a></div>
My card today was inspired by the new Mermazing Sparkle Blend. I love the watery colors, the pearl-like beads, and of course the mermaid sequins! Here's a closer look at what's in this Blend.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7yhzaaaqlDNsIWhyphenhyphenybtESgRTtlHe3sry_Hk3xtfhQO3xNutVuWnT33iqpckaZWmyL6fnpZC86Am7GEjAKeMKQqslK_s5T48awV7ihlH4dnLfRwhHsQ0WbGCeVMp1-S-OhOH9qKO-Y_Mgd/s1600/Mermazing-3-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7yhzaaaqlDNsIWhyphenhyphenybtESgRTtlHe3sry_Hk3xtfhQO3xNutVuWnT33iqpckaZWmyL6fnpZC86Am7GEjAKeMKQqslK_s5T48awV7ihlH4dnLfRwhHsQ0WbGCeVMp1-S-OhOH9qKO-Y_Mgd/s400/Mermazing-3-.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
On top of my shaker window, I used an older stamp and die set from <a href="https://stampendous.com/">Stampendous</a>. I colored the images with Zig Clean Color Markers. My sentiment is from Stampendous' <a href="https://stampendous.com/shop/stamps/sentiments/ocean-wisdom-perfectly-clear-rubber-stamps/">Ocean Wisdom</a> stamp set. Outside of my window, I lightly inked some <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-salty-ocean">Salty Ocean</a> Distress Oxide to pull the colors in the shaker forward.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPuhpvKkpPM4Lsh7FXS0XQxPiMUZhAEKhif-iFI2pGYGkYKy3OMa28kfWLraf24nVKbEt-8VjMPRyfDBbxRLCUG1vtlEKnfXWp_4mtxMR_SkderGAzL_Jj11sq6jPvavDcDpoXwAvU0sCo/s1600/Mermazing-4-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1186" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPuhpvKkpPM4Lsh7FXS0XQxPiMUZhAEKhif-iFI2pGYGkYKy3OMa28kfWLraf24nVKbEt-8VjMPRyfDBbxRLCUG1vtlEKnfXWp_4mtxMR_SkderGAzL_Jj11sq6jPvavDcDpoXwAvU0sCo/s400/Mermazing-4-.jpg" width="296" /></a></div>
The Mermazing Sparkle Blend has a lot of room to move, not only because of my large window, but also because I used 1/8" thick Foam Tape from <a href="https://www.brutusmonroe.com/">Brutus Monroe</a>. It's super flexible and goes around curves quite nicely. I inked the edge of my white card base with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, which is also the ink I used to stamp my images.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIn7qpXsZYxyQh9JoV9pswqWVrMnnrqB2L8sUDq8VLOnOatw_FF5KrTdg_pgT-OihvnT2hicbpGSOU6FZHAoTf9RBnkmjXuYdFSTNGipDKFu7GmUwWaPWjvmh0O-kHFjze2mZoipHsWJGa/s1600/Mermazing-5-.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1411" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIn7qpXsZYxyQh9JoV9pswqWVrMnnrqB2L8sUDq8VLOnOatw_FF5KrTdg_pgT-OihvnT2hicbpGSOU6FZHAoTf9RBnkmjXuYdFSTNGipDKFu7GmUwWaPWjvmh0O-kHFjze2mZoipHsWJGa/s400/Mermazing-5-.jpg" width="352" /></a></div>

I've got a new project for <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts</a> today. If you visited my blog yesterday, you may realize that this card uses the exact same color palette as yesterday's card, but the design is very different. I love these colors together, and I have been super inspired by Therm O Web's <a href="https://www.thermowebonline.com/p/deco-foil-transfer-sheets-rainbow-shattered-glass/new-products_deco-foil_foil-transfer-sheets?pp=24">Rainbow Shattered Glass</a> Deco Foil, so this card was inspired by that.<br />

I started off with the Gina K Designs <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/gina-k-designs-foil-mates-sentiments-55x85-12pkg-sweet-expressions">Sweet Expressions Foil Mates</a>. These are black toner-printed sentiments that you run through a hot laminator with the Deco Foil of your choosing. It's a very quick process with very impactful results.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZRTZpXQtn7hR5O2CTJIAxJBtTrUZw7ZXNMFmtzQxe5q5rFUUG1BW_lU7IG7pVHfOJ6pi2S-rYDkfkFA1cCEmhk0RW731emgt_BPqCU4qEzd_KdAYSm7j9HxMZn_VaMA3shq7XCf55nzWK/s1600/Person-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1356" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZRTZpXQtn7hR5O2CTJIAxJBtTrUZw7ZXNMFmtzQxe5q5rFUUG1BW_lU7IG7pVHfOJ6pi2S-rYDkfkFA1cCEmhk0RW731emgt_BPqCU4qEzd_KdAYSm7j9HxMZn_VaMA3shq7XCf55nzWK/s400/Person-2.jpg" width="338" /></a></div>
Here you can really see the vibrant colors of the foil. I matted the sentiment with some deep purple cardstock. For my background, I used the Argyle Embossing Folder from Darice, but with a letterpress feel. I inked one side of the folder with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-broken-china">Broken China</a>, <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-wilted-violet">Wilted Violet</a>, <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-worn-lipstick">Worn Lipstick</a>, and <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-peacock-feathers">Peacock Feathers</a> Distress Oxide before I ran it through my die cut machine. I was careful to not have any gaps between colors, but to also not contaminate any of my ink pads with the color next to it. If that happens, you can quickly wipe off the pad with a paper towel or cloth to keep the "wrong" color from seeping into the pad. I spritzed my cardstock with a little water because it's a heavy 110 lbs, and that keeps it from cracking in the folder. This also helped to blend the colors a little while it passed though my die cut machine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL7Zb5C19BNTTz8Z2Uw8QwPEavgj7I_xQBYfsMv9FuDuqwJzEqJ0GVIVdLPSVgi6XLSnvyziS6Qo1EknCQ_dVMzCzrQtZA22bWOt3eD4lt1ooLH1SnZAZ8yv_jNksL0sCuPIVpXzyDdc9b/s1600/Person-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1203" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL7Zb5C19BNTTz8Z2Uw8QwPEavgj7I_xQBYfsMv9FuDuqwJzEqJ0GVIVdLPSVgi6XLSnvyziS6Qo1EknCQ_dVMzCzrQtZA22bWOt3eD4lt1ooLH1SnZAZ8yv_jNksL0sCuPIVpXzyDdc9b/s320/Person-3.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I mounted the panel on to a white top folding card and added a few assorted sequins from various Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground that were adhered with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/imagine-crafts-on-point-glue-1-fl-oz">On Point Glue</a>. The photo below is a little blown out so that you could really see the amazing colors from the Deco Foil. It's even more amazing in person.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCxsD0a4LYW11jCN_WnYJRNcEC9Em-7W5EUM-Ua4FT8hgmJXMqAswL_1j9CC9ScGRh9kafCdnB-tvYH_p_gMoLrrP9ZkL2m2DM9VATOQxrfNS9ltDdGUb_hlCKEHM4N732xQw4-6ghwAP6/s1600/Person-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1436" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCxsD0a4LYW11jCN_WnYJRNcEC9Em-7W5EUM-Ua4FT8hgmJXMqAswL_1j9CC9ScGRh9kafCdnB-tvYH_p_gMoLrrP9ZkL2m2DM9VATOQxrfNS9ltDdGUb_hlCKEHM4N732xQw4-6ghwAP6/s320/Person-4.jpg" width="287" /></a></div>
I love using embossing folders for backgrounds, and Foil Mates make for quick work of finishing off cards. If you eliminate the time you need to heat up your laminator, you could probably complete this card in well under 15 minutes. That's a win in my book! So, I splurged. I bought myself the <a href="https://heroarts.com/collections/mmh-may-2019/products/my-monthly-hero-kit-may-2019">May My Monthly Hero</a> kit because I absolutely, positively had to have it. It was totally full of crafty imagery and I have been wanting stamps like this for my collection. Also, I was one of the lucky folks that won a gift certificate to <a href="https://www.thermowebonline.com/">Therm O Web</a> from the Stamp Junkies anniversary celebration, and I knew I just had to pair those brands together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBANmpXFxlAtJdLJjHoH0My7E3ocFc1_fKSk01mhT2PLvV9npsD300E2tTroO1NbkGrbYHIf8nZHsqJAXrM4k23Ywnt_cPvIcYgaNACVnL9O-25MISstjY94duUNVQMF0bQTUe5RjyoRBJ/s1600/Crafty-Happy-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1294" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBANmpXFxlAtJdLJjHoH0My7E3ocFc1_fKSk01mhT2PLvV9npsD300E2tTroO1NbkGrbYHIf8nZHsqJAXrM4k23Ywnt_cPvIcYgaNACVnL9O-25MISstjY94duUNVQMF0bQTUe5RjyoRBJ/s400/Crafty-Happy-1.jpg" width="322" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I started off by using the <a href="https://www.ginakdesigns.com/shop/">Gina K Designs</a> <a href="https://www.ginakdesigns.com/product/wreath-builder-templates/">Wreath Builder Template </a> and stamping off some of the images (with VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne) from the Hero Arts kit. I decided to color block the 4 sections I created, and I really like the effect. These are 4 of my favorite colors to use together, so I knew I had to push the palette as far as I could.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBGiCycQqapOijU6mtjsjmhcQYFQQ4mE6KC_XYh2JwPEFIugKJcG6hwat88BTojfMDj6I7JvB-KF4eFwCvtTSiKqzDqwLW7adtumE7zKZTAQKK4V8baH9axD1n2jJjFnK0GWYAd0oJf4Mf/s1600/Crafty-Happy-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1254" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBGiCycQqapOijU6mtjsjmhcQYFQQ4mE6KC_XYh2JwPEFIugKJcG6hwat88BTojfMDj6I7JvB-KF4eFwCvtTSiKqzDqwLW7adtumE7zKZTAQKK4V8baH9axD1n2jJjFnK0GWYAd0oJf4Mf/s400/Crafty-Happy-2.jpg" width="312" /></a></div>
The <a href="https://www.thermowebonline.com/p/deco-foil-transfer-sheets-rainbow-shattered-glass/new-products_deco-foil_foil-transfer-sheets?pp=24">Rainbow Shattered Glass </a>Deco Foil from Therm O Web was absolutely perfect for this card. I applied it to some double sided sticky tape, backed with cardstock. I didn't need to heat set it, or even remove the release paper. I did die cut a center square out of the panel, because it was just too pretty to hide, so I'll use it on another card at some point. Once those top 2 layers were attached, I had to figure out my background.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjErGK9ttgWdDddpf0XolZEkn_6uVTIYWCjsf5hNUCuEhMgK6tPMrsSICDAnoUk6q0aUpFrbHMvO0dTilwiUIQ2nlOqnIJNG-XVvva11OHPAuU3FApU1Nm-S9mB9AxzyK5AduuKmKMAL-bt/s1600/Crafty-Happy-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1175" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjErGK9ttgWdDddpf0XolZEkn_6uVTIYWCjsf5hNUCuEhMgK6tPMrsSICDAnoUk6q0aUpFrbHMvO0dTilwiUIQ2nlOqnIJNG-XVvva11OHPAuU3FApU1Nm-S9mB9AxzyK5AduuKmKMAL-bt/s400/Crafty-Happy-3.jpg" width="293" /></a></div>
I decided to use Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, and Broken China Distress Oxides over the entire background. I inked up 4 quadrants on Bristol Smooth cardstock, and then splattered Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle all over it. This not only oxidizes the wet areas, but it adds some lovely sparkle as well. Then I attached the panel to my card base. This is a large card, by the way. The base is cut to 6 1/2" x 10." For my sentiment, I stamped it o to white cardstock, and decided it needed a mat as well. I tried a few different things, but ended up using a portion of the leftover square of Rainbow Shattered Glass I had die cut from the center of my square.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7HiI-jk1vK6lBWbQxpWfTxRQ7fNCzf3FpM9KPaaCWtSBsGBZ25ytzekJAOsyNgu6OcYnD0HFb0Aa0ueyfw3ZZ0PQzhSPYc-ReZ5dToAk-JpFM6RpqJ4vL_G6wSpaecST0z40kNJVTIdpM/s1600/Crafty-Happy-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1383" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7HiI-jk1vK6lBWbQxpWfTxRQ7fNCzf3FpM9KPaaCWtSBsGBZ25ytzekJAOsyNgu6OcYnD0HFb0Aa0ueyfw3ZZ0PQzhSPYc-ReZ5dToAk-JpFM6RpqJ4vL_G6wSpaecST0z40kNJVTIdpM/s400/Crafty-Happy-4.jpg" width="345" /></a></div>
I love how this card turned out and may wind up just hanging it in my craft room. The <a href="https://www.thermowebonline.com/p/deco-foil-transfer-sheets-rainbow-shattered-glass/new-products_deco-foil_foil-transfer-sheets?pp=24">Rainbow Shattered Glass</a> Deco Foil is even more spectacular in person. I'll have it on another project very soon. I am also having a blast with the Hero Arts kit. I'll be back tomorrow with a new project fr White Rose Crafts. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!Alisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14948014058141347726noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037727934837581305.post-20249455700514595612019-05-28T16:56:00.001-04:002019-05-28T16:57:38.554-04:00Caffeinated SharkGreetings! Today I have a card that I just felt like making. No DT stuff, no challenges....just me playing around with supplies. In case you didn't know, I recently taught at <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/unstoppableretreats/">Unstoppable Retreats</a> in Seattle. There, I had gotten my first 2 sets of stamps from The <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/">Rabbit Hole Designs</a>. Now, I had seen a lot of wonderful projects from them already, I just didn't have any stamps yet. But I am supper excited to now have their <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/product-page/caffeinated-shark-clear-stamp-3x4">Shark </a>from the <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/caffeinated">Caffeinated </a>collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje71IP8EAx8N9ZIycWqpSnKklrNLPlCZ-vV3jWcUd5s9WRbcKvat0P-YOSLu_Cjz0gVsGXBxWGXez7vKFIkhs6qjQXp2cKCikuSGZAq2dz5-4AMfaAi0fO3GmziIzhiotlWad8-_2DSTy3/s1600/Shark-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1312" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje71IP8EAx8N9ZIycWqpSnKklrNLPlCZ-vV3jWcUd5s9WRbcKvat0P-YOSLu_Cjz0gVsGXBxWGXez7vKFIkhs6qjQXp2cKCikuSGZAq2dz5-4AMfaAi0fO3GmziIzhiotlWad8-_2DSTy3/s400/Shark-1.jpg" width="327" /></a></div>
I stamped this guy on Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I crack up every time I look at him! I fussy cut him out and decided to use some scraps of patterned paper to make water. I also used the coffee molecule stamp in the background in a subtle way with Summer Sky Memento ink.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjns7IWXmEiA2FJxATFQctSJXp9-4RVYznlqLRzXhl680evgGl4kWwpX-0pf2gdUL5FENuaTv0RWM17ux3Wq8OZT6C-wG8FxntiKxxpGMuw3fOFpTA43g1XM80AW6AsuvCuKA8ZZVbiQD2q/s1600/Shark-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1215" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjns7IWXmEiA2FJxATFQctSJXp9-4RVYznlqLRzXhl680evgGl4kWwpX-0pf2gdUL5FENuaTv0RWM17ux3Wq8OZT6C-wG8FxntiKxxpGMuw3fOFpTA43g1XM80AW6AsuvCuKA8ZZVbiQD2q/s400/Shark-2.jpg" width="303" /></a></div>
And of course, I needed to use that hilarious sentiment. This was a quick card to put together, which I like, since I've been short on crafty time lately. I have plenty of ideas for Mr. Shark, and I look forward to sharing them with you in the future.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDa_B4WQyoj_JPaYYYJPVDeUTRQDz1WugmrnC4H-xOAytbDu2rAJGE2Zws84SVJ9fZFg9OETAHoE2zy-wQacdQ9m3ibLDDAT5Pzl_a1G1iX6YYI819JXtlxpupecjZCFT3Haj2DfC8c7Ka/s1600/Shark-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1456" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDa_B4WQyoj_JPaYYYJPVDeUTRQDz1WugmrnC4H-xOAytbDu2rAJGE2Zws84SVJ9fZFg9OETAHoE2zy-wQacdQ9m3ibLDDAT5Pzl_a1G1iX6YYI819JXtlxpupecjZCFT3Haj2DfC8c7Ka/s400/Shark-3.jpg" width="363" /></a></div>
I'd like to give a HUGE "thank you" to <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/">The Rabbit Hole Designs</a> for being one of the amazing sponsors at Unstoppable Retreats. I am so excited to keep playing with these stamps. And, I'd like to mention, that the quality of the stamps is amazing. Usually you need to ink up a new stamp a few times before you get a good impression, but not with these. They worked beautifully the first time, and have perfectly crisp lines. I look forward to adding to my <a href="https://www.therabbitholedesigns.com/">Rabbit Hole Designs</a> collection. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!Alisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14948014058141347726noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037727934837581305.post-3903985527134250522019-05-26T10:29:00.001-04:002019-05-26T10:29:24.229-04:00Sweet StockingHello! Today I have a <i>Christmas </i>shaker card to share with you. I know, I know....it's almost the unofficial start of Summer, but I find that I don't always have enough handmade cards to give over the holidays, so why not start now? And shaker cards with Sparkle Blends from <a href="https://doodlespaperplayground.blogspot.com/">Doodles Paper Playground</a> are perfect for the holidays.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj8M7h23EgI9yUw9xTn1H-FtF-U95zYm3_Y0AsCOzd_oSkwZozORKM4bvmMq-3jo7HQi16JJjirjn-8JUCDqK11EjXdDIS0ZiX0gv9IAkrfGdeSj9M3ZkVVIQQdkX9mL7KC92E3ssgFPXn/s1600/Stocking-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1294" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj8M7h23EgI9yUw9xTn1H-FtF-U95zYm3_Y0AsCOzd_oSkwZozORKM4bvmMq-3jo7HQi16JJjirjn-8JUCDqK11EjXdDIS0ZiX0gv9IAkrfGdeSj9M3ZkVVIQQdkX9mL7KC92E3ssgFPXn/s400/Stocking-1.jpg" width="322" /></a></div>
I often like to color images and just keep them together until I feel like putting them on a card, or I have inspiration. I colored this sweet little image named <a href="http://adayfordaisies.com/stamps/christmas-winter/sami">Sami </a>from <a href="https://adayfordaisies.com/stamps/">A Day for Daisies</a> quite some time ago, and just never put it on a project. I knew it was perfect for a shaker.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxd68aGJ383eWei4pHHXLfaxMx-9UNRyMOr66tYPh_t9-MEqvhIQJ7KPjx4Fwb3K-pxlRicx0HJmHFYx0eHafgd60fxfjjm_gpI3IcHnYz1YUZERCcZBxEtjP8oheBA5_FabDYJTrzcQeR/s1600/Stocking-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxd68aGJ383eWei4pHHXLfaxMx-9UNRyMOr66tYPh_t9-MEqvhIQJ7KPjx4Fwb3K-pxlRicx0HJmHFYx0eHafgd60fxfjjm_gpI3IcHnYz1YUZERCcZBxEtjP8oheBA5_FabDYJTrzcQeR/s400/Stocking-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Since I had pre-colored Sami, I chose my Sparkle Blend based on the colors I used on the image. <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-boughs-of-holly">Boughs of Holly </a>was just perfect! This is a traditional Christmas colored Blend, but I really love the various shades of green in it. There is lots of sparkle and shine, plus some stars, holly leaves, and flowers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOeb9bnrG7aeKymvRB3ECsaOsrHiWSMoBXm1PjNvcuU-6ShR82Br5iiJtiCWD9TNIIWo4wJ3BVnseSJenbMnnhzl92R6767bnGnrfwcB1PL05dGRZdHSYK9TXteNfU-D6H-Yl_wA5wOwUK/s1600/Stocking-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1486" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOeb9bnrG7aeKymvRB3ECsaOsrHiWSMoBXm1PjNvcuU-6ShR82Br5iiJtiCWD9TNIIWo4wJ3BVnseSJenbMnnhzl92R6767bnGnrfwcB1PL05dGRZdHSYK9TXteNfU-D6H-Yl_wA5wOwUK/s400/Stocking-3.jpg" width="371" /></a></div>
I backed my shaker window with a small gingham, and cut the window with an oval die from Lawn Fawn's <a href="https://www.lawnfawn.com/products/magic-color-slider">Magic Color Slider Die</a> set. That die set has 3 shapes that are just perfect for shaker cards.<br />

I love to mix patterns, so I added some polka dot cardstock that was cut with an older <a href="https://www.averyelle.com/">Avery Elle</a> banner die. I also adhered a few additional sequins to the front of the card for additional sparkle. My sentiment is from <a href="https://stampendous.com/">Stampendous</a>.<br />

This week, the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts</a> team is focusing on die cutting. WRC carries lots of great dies...some that are stand alone, and some that work with stamp sets. My card for today uses Jillibean Soup <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/jillibean-soup-shaker-die-set-jar">Jar dies</a> that coordinate with their <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/jillibean-soup-clear-stamps-4x4-lemonade">Lemonade stamps</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwzGbFi7F8gEh3cD8cv319O0cbKLzWi4uxgQmFvb0TMvgl8Qk5EgI-voZFF8Xt5opDmS8JZwsSrbNkQmcojWxyPA9MEdVfQid-4dg9SXXEIkmWJpRtEoO5wHIsFwMpuPgaE0O94MbGmwwE/s1600/Lemonade-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1280" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwzGbFi7F8gEh3cD8cv319O0cbKLzWi4uxgQmFvb0TMvgl8Qk5EgI-voZFF8Xt5opDmS8JZwsSrbNkQmcojWxyPA9MEdVfQid-4dg9SXXEIkmWJpRtEoO5wHIsFwMpuPgaE0O94MbGmwwE/s400/Lemonade-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The last time I had used this stamp and die set, I stamped and die cut a bunch of the fruit slices, wedges, and jar lids so that it would save me time in the future. These pre-made pieces really came in handy when making this card!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvLeDIDSBaCAqBiOkeQsKadvOHTxzB5ibjFo54QESLanX0gYkRn_Nv_aP1J1b0J6tzHSOPLVN7WZKKAY8mXU8m8myQkFZI44r4qdHmazf1cexzYNoAJTyHqvXeyHAXV6YYiZTH9S-m40xF/s1600/Lemonade-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvLeDIDSBaCAqBiOkeQsKadvOHTxzB5ibjFo54QESLanX0gYkRn_Nv_aP1J1b0J6tzHSOPLVN7WZKKAY8mXU8m8myQkFZI44r4qdHmazf1cexzYNoAJTyHqvXeyHAXV6YYiZTH9S-m40xF/s400/Lemonade-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
Besides the fruit slices and wedges, I added some "<a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-mixes-well-yellow-there">Well, Yellow There</a>" Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground. I like the tiny microbeads in this Blend. They look like bubbles, and really help things move around in the shaker. I backed my window with a piece of cardstock that I applied Distress Oxides to. I used <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-salty-ocean">Salty Ocean</a>, <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-faded-jeans">Faded Jeans</a>, and <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-peacock-feathers">Peacock Feathers</a>. For my sentiment, I used VersaFine Clair ink in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/versafine-clair-ink-pad-twilight">Twilight</a>, and on top of that, I stamped the Kaisercraft <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-texture-clear-stamps-fading-dots">Fading Dots</a> stamp with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-tumbled-glass">Tumbled Glass</a> Distress Oxide ink.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdJ44dM6TnivjVbcdtf1bVyUibFDjKgFq49bdXFBi0-aRtOGEn_Oqq-yNQl50-JlwNaB1GD_glxH0dJVJePJtn-VQsdEctiNVYSmXYuXnaRuQd4SS3f8gp_WwdULw_IIZ9lcsUs_eZzY47/s1600/Lemonade-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1178" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdJ44dM6TnivjVbcdtf1bVyUibFDjKgFq49bdXFBi0-aRtOGEn_Oqq-yNQl50-JlwNaB1GD_glxH0dJVJePJtn-VQsdEctiNVYSmXYuXnaRuQd4SS3f8gp_WwdULw_IIZ9lcsUs_eZzY47/s400/Lemonade-3.jpg" width="293" /></a></div>
My background is a piece of Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-kaleidoscope-paper-pad-65x65-40pkg">Kaleidoscope </a>paper (what a great paper pad set it is!) on top of a white card base. I like the "bubbly" look the background paper ans Fading Dots stamp give to the card. Lemonade isn't usually bubbly, I know, but it could be!<br />

Thanks for visiting me today. I've got a new shaker card to share that is soft, pretty, and great for different occasions. I chose to make it a "thank you" card, but it would work great for lots of other things.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid2TxRg0TOvxBkMLcGVdtJ3-rpWXgfMAfkAydvQPzDTy00gGWEIGl_LonCZSDuIJbbJPHBfczwVZRPOndtPrVt0VtYKwBRijdzvnqoCs9fpXK2EoGD0Cs5VPS-KQ_Nk7dXC9XOsIYQy1UR/s1600/Succulent-Shaker-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1279" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid2TxRg0TOvxBkMLcGVdtJ3-rpWXgfMAfkAydvQPzDTy00gGWEIGl_LonCZSDuIJbbJPHBfczwVZRPOndtPrVt0VtYKwBRijdzvnqoCs9fpXK2EoGD0Cs5VPS-KQ_Nk7dXC9XOsIYQy1UR/s400/Succulent-Shaker-1.jpg" width="318" /></a></div>
If you've been stopping by lately, you'll know that I really love Kaisercraft's "<a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products?keywords=greenhouse">Greenhouse</a>" collection. I've been using it quite a bit lately, because it's just beautiful. I started off by choosing a few of the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-collectables-cardstock-die-cuts-greenhouse">Cardstock Die Cuts</a> and arranged them on a blank background. I then decided that I wanted to use an oval stitched die from Lawn Fawn's Magic Color Slider Die set (I use the 3 frames in that set <i>all the time</i>) for my shaker window. Then I chose my coordinating patterned papers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-_mtdCxi_vfMtg87iKOjsP_6bzm-jPMBRZzNxWgugm7_7bbg8QLClxZQ6CCTS7CbYwQli-isJ_F36RX7X7_eVkS-lS7EUs0LS3FVJmTA299FEJ1D6Do2wDwg5AGXTY_zknRv01FsobXO7/s1600/Succulent-Shaker-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-_mtdCxi_vfMtg87iKOjsP_6bzm-jPMBRZzNxWgugm7_7bbg8QLClxZQ6CCTS7CbYwQli-isJ_F36RX7X7_eVkS-lS7EUs0LS3FVJmTA299FEJ1D6Do2wDwg5AGXTY_zknRv01FsobXO7/s400/Succulent-Shaker-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
After choosing the papers, I went through my stash of Sparkle Blends to see what I thought would work best. I actually thought I was going to use the newer <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-springtime">Springtime </a>Blend, but instead, I felt that <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends-icicle">Icicle </a>was the right way to go. It has lovely cool tones in it, with lots of glitter and opulence. It really pulled out the subtle shades in all of the succulents.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaiHSGSV2631kjYAXcdBTexnB125Kh9EBBs4GeSz2pI0lL2b__slCXQNwtJriilMkbhPUjAyzSKuX6XPYGiw9ONrRIjcMmIyMN6Oe2usYxXtjXhXf6ajBSMqE7Cl5z9W2h739b1YTEGi7h/s1600/Succulent-Shaker-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1204" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaiHSGSV2631kjYAXcdBTexnB125Kh9EBBs4GeSz2pI0lL2b__slCXQNwtJriilMkbhPUjAyzSKuX6XPYGiw9ONrRIjcMmIyMN6Oe2usYxXtjXhXf6ajBSMqE7Cl5z9W2h739b1YTEGi7h/s400/Succulent-Shaker-3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I stamped a simple "thank you" from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-iced-spruce">Iced Spruce</a> Distress Oxide ink, and then I buffed on some <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-spun-sugar">Spun Sugar</a> Distress Oxide ink to add a bit more soft color to the border of my background panel. I kept my card base pure white.<br />

I really love how this card turned out. And since you're not using large pieces of patterned paper, or many die cut succulents, you can remake this card several times with those two products. And, you can easily change up the Sparkle Blends that you use in the window. But I will say, I think Icicle was perfect for it. Hello! This week, the Stampendous team is sharing "Jungle Jive" projects. There are a lot of stamps that shout the jungle theme, and my card today uses the <a href="https://stampendous.com/shop/whats-new/cling-wild-texutre-rubber-stamp/">Wild Texture</a> 6"x 6" stamp. I decided to go with rainbow fur, because I thought it would be a fun way to show off all the different styles of fur that are on this stamp. What do you think? My full instructions are below. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<b><u><span style="font-size: large;">Directions:</span></u></b><br />
1. Lay the Wild Texture Stamp (stamp side up) on to your work surface.<br />
<br />
2. Ink entire stamp with Kaleidacolor Ink in Bouquet.<br />
<br />
3. Lay Mixed Media White Paper on top of inked image and carefully rub your hands over it to get the stamp impression on to the paper.<br />
<br />
4. Trim image down to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2." This leaves you some "wiggle room" for trimming later, if necessary.<br />
<br />
5. Position the sentiment stamp in the stamp positioner. The positioner makes it much easier to stamp the image at equal distances from each other.<br />
<br />
6. Stamp the sentiment repeatedly on the background with Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink.<br />
<br />
7. Trim down background as necessary. I trimmed mine to 4" x 5 1/4."<br />
<br />
8. Create the card base out of Atlantic Shore cardstock, cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2."<br />
<br />
9. Adhere inked background to card base with EZ Runner.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3DTMJFyaZhrHD19cVXV1ZviXJZr9Mj6P6enYuK4PFnVPktoBZV5JZbJYInleUEklvadtdHxV1DeMn5Wxl41I-7CwNLuKg02PZu4aFZEh9GCh_Nro-EtMp25867DCB6dyUvGxnp4fzujsP/s1600/Rainbow-Fur-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1385" data-original-width="1600" height="345" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3DTMJFyaZhrHD19cVXV1ZviXJZr9Mj6P6enYuK4PFnVPktoBZV5JZbJYInleUEklvadtdHxV1DeMn5Wxl41I-7CwNLuKg02PZu4aFZEh9GCh_Nro-EtMp25867DCB6dyUvGxnp4fzujsP/s400/Rainbow-Fur-4.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
As much as I love spending a long time coloring flowers or critters, it is also really great to bang out a quick, but graphic, card here and there. This was a pretty quick one to make, and I can see that by just changing out the sentiment, or even the Kaleidacolor Inks used, you can get completely different looks. It would be great to make a set of these with different repeated sentiments to give as a gift. So, would you like to see more "Jungle Jive" projects? I have a new DT project for <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts</a>, featuring Kaisercraft. I just received the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-kaleidoscope-paper-pad-65x65-40pkg">Kaleidoscope </a>paper pad, and was immediately inspired by the beautiful colors and faux textures on the pages.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiboB15qyRjIsumSPK0Htl3t3Hxmn3m2BA2Dr4a34WrUUC-qt3_LQH4rwMU3iSGea51G5yMUOajjoaLWN-TEiPiE-0Ytg9G712V-hu8qNuqksM4KZAMr2D87pB2JcBauuPOTQd9fPFcRdGI/s1600/Live-Life-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1300" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiboB15qyRjIsumSPK0Htl3t3Hxmn3m2BA2Dr4a34WrUUC-qt3_LQH4rwMU3iSGea51G5yMUOajjoaLWN-TEiPiE-0Ytg9G712V-hu8qNuqksM4KZAMr2D87pB2JcBauuPOTQd9fPFcRdGI/s400/Live-Life-1.jpg" width="323" /></a></div>
I picked this one out of the lineup because of how springy it is. I love this color palette. And because the background is already beautiful, I really didn't have to do much to get a completed card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqpT8Y4RNrChhmx9zKMu_jwI9WwboLjLNUFBLKcGjDKIRBJjpuH_NM5ve-dZ6No0RJidIwqRYyKJ9qwoAwd2T6-x6ATEHxpV9cqiJdPOa5ptGRQxRAZBYEULgg1fGv80MeYdEjzHu3lRrS/s1600/Live-Life-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1253" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqpT8Y4RNrChhmx9zKMu_jwI9WwboLjLNUFBLKcGjDKIRBJjpuH_NM5ve-dZ6No0RJidIwqRYyKJ9qwoAwd2T6-x6ATEHxpV9cqiJdPOa5ptGRQxRAZBYEULgg1fGv80MeYdEjzHu3lRrS/s400/Live-Life-2.jpg" width="312" /></a></div>
For my sentiment, I stamped an image from Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-greenhouse-clear-stamps-6x4">Greenhouse Collection</a> of Clear Stamps on another piece from the Kaleidoscope paper pad with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/versafine-clair-ink-pad-nocturne">Nocturne </a>VersaFine Clair ink. Behind the sentiment, I added a piece of Mulberry Lace Paper, just for some added soft texture.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwyJoZdwX8D1s8iWcFTG0ekBG09cV-mfdcys7UCHeZWGrWeEw8fzfnZuiwyD_m_TCa_NFMdCGS3kTyGXcAOhbgdDn1i_gGFjPrW-BgbFzkb5R0r2keHS3CLKTWNTcPq7RijXZDpHM94wlh/s1600/Live-Life-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1155" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwyJoZdwX8D1s8iWcFTG0ekBG09cV-mfdcys7UCHeZWGrWeEw8fzfnZuiwyD_m_TCa_NFMdCGS3kTyGXcAOhbgdDn1i_gGFjPrW-BgbFzkb5R0r2keHS3CLKTWNTcPq7RijXZDpHM94wlh/s400/Live-Life-3.jpg" width="288" /></a></div>
I also added a few sequins from the "Springtime" Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. That Blend has the perfect colors to go along with this collection. On my card base, I rubbed on some <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-worn-lipstick">Worn Lipstick</a> Distress Oxide and then dripped some Sheer <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/imagine-crafts-sheer-shimmer-spritz-spray-2oz-gold">Shimmer Spritz in Gold</a> to get some of the oxidation happening but with added shine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2VUkL27IQw_GKsph8icWeHCcvD3lSD2dClyWO0Lrh_bEs87uTU9ay8ApQJB_iHPkio8wXwbIgJjew_0KwXSBeqTlfdFw5JBcK7vJ11JcBFFoMLLqFtAF6eQjs0bdMNQfMfA4kLr2s0kP/s1600/Live-Life-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1457" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2VUkL27IQw_GKsph8icWeHCcvD3lSD2dClyWO0Lrh_bEs87uTU9ay8ApQJB_iHPkio8wXwbIgJjew_0KwXSBeqTlfdFw5JBcK7vJ11JcBFFoMLLqFtAF6eQjs0bdMNQfMfA4kLr2s0kP/s400/Live-Life-4.jpg" width="363" /></a></div>

I've got a new scrapbook page to share with you for my latest Design Team project for <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts</a>. Each month, we feature a specific company for about a week, and this time, it's Kaisercraft. I have loved Kaisercraft for a very long time. In fact, back when I owned my scrapbooking store, they was a company I ordered from frequently. This layout today uses a bunch of their newest products.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0yqDtyeFBju9wrTs4Xt8viUaDt2BKgRQZwG3BZYBVjWfaLsC3IGh1YQToG7NGJ97NhCnZOUbyiajDm9i7bWsd-8FOGI4WGzZbZeeblCKf9uHQ_ctpKkzP6p3vuud2ua1U4o-k3iRucalb/s1600/St.-Thomas-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1597" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0yqDtyeFBju9wrTs4Xt8viUaDt2BKgRQZwG3BZYBVjWfaLsC3IGh1YQToG7NGJ97NhCnZOUbyiajDm9i7bWsd-8FOGI4WGzZbZeeblCKf9uHQ_ctpKkzP6p3vuud2ua1U4o-k3iRucalb/s400/St.-Thomas-1.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
This photo is of my husband, about 3 years ago when we went on a cruise. This photo was taken in St. Thomas. I love the colors and textures in the photo, and I knew I wanted to create more layers, textures and add in similar colors to my layout.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyxaPvzBDC18o5cF41ryT4TLC9PgS5SnCqQH5hHaPHpv3VnzPYSt_vGayxYjjTg6717DjujUrGIHalXhctPEA6k2oUoI0NRJ2x18XUzQQpWolk-qdABSTXq7LTFulxieeefrqvhWqEJGgl/s1600/St.-Thomas-5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyxaPvzBDC18o5cF41ryT4TLC9PgS5SnCqQH5hHaPHpv3VnzPYSt_vGayxYjjTg6717DjujUrGIHalXhctPEA6k2oUoI0NRJ2x18XUzQQpWolk-qdABSTXq7LTFulxieeefrqvhWqEJGgl/s400/St.-Thomas-5.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I first used Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-paper-pad-65x65-40pkg-greenhouse">Greenhouse </a>paper pad as a jumping off point. That gave me some ideas on what to do with colors and other elements. I have the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-greenhouse-clear-stamps-6x4">Greenhouse Clear Stamp Set</a> and I used the terrarium image with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/ranger-embossing-powder-rose-gold-metallic">Rose Gold</a> embossing powder to create a geometric design in the lower right corner. I love how it turned out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjil6pj6kRXuH-wGxaCLgl44Q54kCVqSi7GKlnLWmrt3O6MXP9PqJeYwfmcNkU-RNtPj0s6rXLgVzjwb06Y9rQch_XG8UQqIrkGKfet7VwbSL9bYHqD6FZLJ9CeFHR4nfCAm5vg5biH6r_m/s1600/St.-Thomas-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjil6pj6kRXuH-wGxaCLgl44Q54kCVqSi7GKlnLWmrt3O6MXP9PqJeYwfmcNkU-RNtPj0s6rXLgVzjwb06Y9rQch_XG8UQqIrkGKfet7VwbSL9bYHqD6FZLJ9CeFHR4nfCAm5vg5biH6r_m/s400/St.-Thomas-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I knew I needed some color. Stains or drips of color. So I broke out my Distress Oxides in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-tumbled-glass">Tumbled Glass,</a> <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-antique-linen">Antique Linen</a>, and <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-iced-spruce">Iced Spruce</a>. I added the color in a few ways, but mostly by dipping the layout into watered down inks that I put on my glass mat. I got some really great drips that I think help your eye move around the page. Those 3 Oxides work beautifully with the Greenhouse collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRyK_oNK88VvXr1mnbAgOsCZD0NxDihz8dvGAB0xlj6-QLkeYPRZbXj3uIhwRBG5iaDkNec11r4x7E46OKPnDlDAgk_2QtJKgX0gpW_zSDcvVd-bvfD1ie89CiO6kxWeZYEIkxK_vSRdsu/s1600/St.-Thomas-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRyK_oNK88VvXr1mnbAgOsCZD0NxDihz8dvGAB0xlj6-QLkeYPRZbXj3uIhwRBG5iaDkNec11r4x7E46OKPnDlDAgk_2QtJKgX0gpW_zSDcvVd-bvfD1ie89CiO6kxWeZYEIkxK_vSRdsu/s400/St.-Thomas-3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I needed some shine, and to break up that upper left corner. So I used Kaisercraft's <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-designer-template-12x12-grunge">Grunge Stencil</a> along with some Nuvo Expanding Mousse in <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/nuvo-expanding-mousse-old-linen">Worn Linen</a>. I did not heat set it to make it expand. I wanted the crosses to remain thin and delicate.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFH3Q7hlI_7EJ5c8_2TQmwC0cXbxIoGam5uJREEKuCTQJPDAd50BH90SQVaBV8xODF9ZKtzyR0wMVQnTlsbNGAazbhg1Ac575wZ6RR-zdUciklB-BBJy35USGQk7rnbuxLfUndLdDyy6Dn/s1600/St.-Thomas-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFH3Q7hlI_7EJ5c8_2TQmwC0cXbxIoGam5uJREEKuCTQJPDAd50BH90SQVaBV8xODF9ZKtzyR0wMVQnTlsbNGAazbhg1Ac575wZ6RR-zdUciklB-BBJy35USGQk7rnbuxLfUndLdDyy6Dn/s400/St.-Thomas-4.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
I also added an element from the <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/kaisercraft-collectables-cardstock-die-cuts-greenhouse">Greenhouse Collectibles Die Cuts</a>. That "postage stamp" really adds to the idea that this photo was taken someplace other than where we reside. I popped it on to some dark blue cardstock, which I dripped some Rose Gold Metallic Mixatives (from Ranger). Talk about shine! It looks amazing in real life. I love how this scrapbook page turned out. It's filled with items of interest, has just enough color, and of course, the photo is the star of the show. Kaisercraft is definitely a favorite company of mine, and I always enjoy working with their products. You can get many items from them over at <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/">White Rose Crafts LLC</a>. You can use my code, "Alison 15" when you shop to save 15% off of your purchase. I'll be back soon with another project. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!<br />

Hello! Welcome to my blog. If you're new, my name is Alison. If you're not, thanks for coming back! Today I am sharing a card that I created for the <a href="http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2019/05/2019-spring-summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop-2/">Coffee Lover's Blog Hop</a>. This is such a fun hop with a ton of participants and sponsors, so I am excited to be joining in. My card features stamps from <a href="https://ink-road-stamps.myshopify.com/">Ink Road</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_zKgXpfQ_v9wBhrRu4ES-IPyCx2KhxDZJ0GGsi0yz2l4DLNwvOzroQkMBug_Oz30kuM5OX_jn9vj73OpHCOhYpJvULVXGjm1TApz7z8GJb1uk4oIdAac_ZnXOdSq8YdGXzGRBr_-l71E4/s1600/Alison-Coffee.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1290" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_zKgXpfQ_v9wBhrRu4ES-IPyCx2KhxDZJ0GGsi0yz2l4DLNwvOzroQkMBug_Oz30kuM5OX_jn9vj73OpHCOhYpJvULVXGjm1TApz7z8GJb1uk4oIdAac_ZnXOdSq8YdGXzGRBr_-l71E4/s400/Alison-Coffee.jpg" width="321" /></a></div>
I just <i>had </i>to use the Inked Girl "Alison." Yup, she was named after me. Lara (the owner of Ink Road) has the coolest naming contests all the time. It is so cool to have a product named after you! I colored her up with Zig Clean Color Markers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSEfmBUzEm0b8lfCfSZtUoJIPauHS83BPRG5WlE-xWazTSPd66z5zYoDv0RNvRikhBlgvqGbUukOUYICiIkyY0HFo97LCtRERJFn3X_-scM6AePgDelBs-K-WK3B5XyH1pf67LqE53ks5h/s1600/Alison-Coffee-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSEfmBUzEm0b8lfCfSZtUoJIPauHS83BPRG5WlE-xWazTSPd66z5zYoDv0RNvRikhBlgvqGbUukOUYICiIkyY0HFo97LCtRERJFn3X_-scM6AePgDelBs-K-WK3B5XyH1pf67LqE53ks5h/s400/Alison-Coffee-2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
My background was done with one of the stamps from my favorite Ink Road set, called <a href="https://ink-road-stamps.myshopify.com/products/mug-life">Mug Life</a>. I stamped all of the coffee cups with <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/tim-holtz-distress-oxides-ink-pad-iced-spruce">Iced Spruce</a> Distress Oxide. Then, I applied some of the same ink to my palette, and used a brush and water to add shading to the cups. I love this tonal effect.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtC7wWJxC1-MbaexIIHQnendsOfgYpVAs8jMlQ3Wo6kCJ72xzFtcJ4ahqUmxOoXmc1xc1z3fTJSSFKju2y-ni8u4KIjhgdcYVWcbjzwdkBcadcqc2Toea9gC8x7CT8EK-htzrwR2u1TRKk/s1600/Alison-Coffee-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1195" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtC7wWJxC1-MbaexIIHQnendsOfgYpVAs8jMlQ3Wo6kCJ72xzFtcJ4ahqUmxOoXmc1xc1z3fTJSSFKju2y-ni8u4KIjhgdcYVWcbjzwdkBcadcqc2Toea9gC8x7CT8EK-htzrwR2u1TRKk/s400/Alison-Coffee-3.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
I stamped a sentiment from the same <a href="https://ink-road-stamps.myshopify.com/products/mug-life">Mug Life</a> stamp set with VersaMark ink on to a piece of gray cardstock that I die cut with an old Avery Elle banner. I then used Detail White Embossing Powder from Stampendous on it. I mounted my background on to gray cardstock, and then added a few sequins from the <a href="https://doodlespaperplayground.blogspot.com/">Doodles Paper Playground</a> Sparkle Blend called, <a href="https://whiterosecraftsllc.com/products/doodles-paper-playground-limited-edition-sparkle-blends">Storm Cloud</a>. That Blend has the perfect shades of blue in it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd8MV-y8xIMNwMQTvz5E4YSswcmZ6le6vadJM7NJ2g81rdsFlsz_MCLbJMGoIZXBEheFHgrV2rX-z9NiUmJvVubktOc08ogX1lt-ganW6x4p4GqJYfcYSK5RA7DeNpemAm5dKsNv4Es3ao/s1600/Alison-Coffee-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1443" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd8MV-y8xIMNwMQTvz5E4YSswcmZ6le6vadJM7NJ2g81rdsFlsz_MCLbJMGoIZXBEheFHgrV2rX-z9NiUmJvVubktOc08ogX1lt-ganW6x4p4GqJYfcYSK5RA7DeNpemAm5dKsNv4Es3ao/s400/Alison-Coffee-4.jpg" width="360" /></a></div>
I really enjoy making backgrounds with my stamps. The Mug Life stamp set has a bunch of images that are perfect for doing that. I am hoping that I'll have another card for the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop this week, but I am running out of time! But for now, thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!Alisonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14948014058141347726noreply@blogger.com14
