On Point Glue Feature

Greetings! I am featuring a new product that I am absolutely in love with. It's called On Point Glue from Imagine, and I have a feeling that you're going to love it too. Check out the video in the link to learn all about it. The tip on the adhesive alone is a reason to work with this product. It's SO tiny and perfect for the skinniest die cuts, among plenty of other things.  I used a creepy-cool stamp from Stampotique called Minky Girl and just stamped her with Onyx Black VersaFine. I got inspired by her polka-dot skirt and the heart on her shirt. I found a red sequin heart that fit over it perfectly and attached it easily with my On Point Glue. Then I added some more sequin hearts. I wanted to show that On Point Glue can be used for different things, so I decided to write "hello" in pencil, then rewrote it with the glue. Next, to add some "spah-kle," I shook on some Red micro glitter from Stampendous . Also, since I wanted her polka-do

Girly Girl with Wicked Wednesday

Greetings! It's time for a new Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge . For the next 2 weeks, the theme is Girly Girl, and we are sponsored by Ppinky Dolls . I used Pigasus (yes, that's how it's spelled) for my ATC. These friends are so sweet. I colored the image with Zig Clean Color Markers. My background was spritzed with some Rose Bud Fireworks! Spray from Imagine . In real life, the background has a lovely shimmer. I added a couple of sequins with some On Point Glue from Imagine for a little dimension and added sparkle. That's it for me today. Please be sure to visit the Wicked Wednesday Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

I Believe in You

I've always found dragons to be very special. I love anything that has to do with dragons, and I find them to be such amazing creatures. When I found out that the Imagine Color of the Month was going to be Greenery, I was really excited. First, it's a beautiful color. Second, I knew I would get to use this adorable dragon from Lawn Fawn's Critters Ever After set. Dragons certainly don't have to be green, but I thought this guy would look fabulous in this shade.  I colored the dragon with Memento Markers and then die cut him out. I really wanted to have a starry background, but I didn't want him to float in mid air, so I made a wall using the Stone Background Stencil from Stampendous.  You'll notice I used several colors in the stones to make the wall seem more realistic. I used Memento Ink and 2 stencil brushes (about 1/2" in size). I started off with Gray Flannel, applying the color in a swirling motion to various areas of the stencil, but n

Embossed Earrings

I love texture. I love feeling the different tactile differences that things have, especially in art. The use of dimensional objects in art always intrigues me, as well as taking things that are flat and have no texture, and altering them in some way to give it life. Today, I have a pair of earrings that I created using Imagine's Sheet Metal, and you'll get to see how to take the small, flat square to something really fun and personal. 1. I went through the Sampler Pack of Sheet Metal, as well as my embossing folders and I chose a cool skull with wings to go on the square pieces. 2. Remove the blue coating on the Sheet Metal and position the piece where you want it in the embossing folder. Using a border made it pretty simple. You can tape the Sheet Metal down with some washi tape if you are worried it's going to move, but I didn't do that. I'm really livin' on the edge! 3. Run the folder and sheet metal through the Sizzix Big Shot machine, us
