Fun Frights with LOC

Hello! I have a new Left of Center challenge to share with you today. We are sponsored by A Day for Daisies, which is one of my absolute favorite digi stamp companies. The theme this week is "Fun Frights." Here's my creation.

I worked with the Owl of Mine image, which I totally love. I colored her with my Tombow watercolor markers.

I can see using all sorts of fun color combinations with this image. I used my Scales stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils. I inked it with gold ink, then embossed it with clear embossing powder on top. I love the subtle look it has, due to using Kraft colored cardstock as my base.

See the shimmer? I added a few silver sequins and a bit of ribbon, plus some deep purple cardstock that had some gold overspray from a previous project. It added some additional shimmer, 'cause you can never have enough! I hope you will join in with LOC this week. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again.
