Greetings! It has been quite a while since i have gotten to play along with the challenges over at Smeared & Smudged. I really liked this month's sketch, so I wanted to give it a go. I made this card for my husband, who was away on business all last week.
I used a cute pair of Grumpies from the Love Li'l Grumpies set. I also used a rubber background stamp from the Urban Decay set. Both from Smeared Ink. My sentiment is from Dilly Beans.
I colored the Grumpies with watercolor markers. Aren't they cute? In a weird sort of way....
I like my paper choices fr this one. I went with really bold colors, and patterns that some may not have thought to put together. But, I love mixing patterns like this. This was a great sketch. And my husband really liked the card. He even showed it to some of his co-workers! That made me very proud. I will say, that I am thrilled he is back home. I hate when he's gone.
