Day 28 of 31 Days: 4th Tile and an Unfinished Project

Hello! I have the 4th tile in my Dilly Beans Sugar Skulls set, and sadly, an unfinished Bombshell Stamps pendant.  Allow me to show you my tile...

As you'll see in a moment, I reversed the image. I didn't want two of the "same" image...so I thought reversing this one was a good fix.

I colored this using Copics and Sharpie markers. I colored it using pretty different colors from the other Sugar Skull, again, to make it feel more different.

Wanna see the whole set????????????????????????????????????

I am soooooo happy with it! I don't know if I can sell it....or, maybe I'll just make a second set for myself and sell this one. What do you think of the 4 together?
As you are aware from a post I had the other day, Bombshell Stamps came out with 2 awesome new sets. Indian Princess and Indian Warrior. I made started to make a pendant with one of the images from Indian Warrior.

So. I had her colored, cut and ready to go. Then she disappeared. Up and flew away by her pig tails. So, at the last second (I'm having a busy weekend), I had to recolor her and try to get her n the pendant. Well, at least she's sitting on it, right?

The plan is as follows... I am going to mount her on to the chipboard oval that I colored with Distress Inks. Then, I will punch a few holes. One for a jump ring, and a few for some dangles. Then, I will probably be adding some of the fabulous Bedazzlers that Kathi sent me, and emboss the whole thing. At least, that's what I envision.
I apologize for not getting this pendant done. But, if you go to the next stop on the Bombshell Hop, which is Susie, you are sure to see not only something complete, but something fabulous. Here is the full hop list in case you get lost along the way.

What a gorgeous set, I can see why it would be hard to part with them. I have that issue when I make something as well. Thank you for sharing a part of you.

Your coaster set is gorgeous. I think you should keep it and make another two sets. One for Kelli and one for me.

I love the start to your Indian Warrior pendant. I'm sure it will be gorgeous when done.

I love the coaster tile set. I think you should make a bunch and sell them (and of course keep a set for yourself).

The pendant you are making, looks gorgeous already! Can't wait to see it finished.

Your tiles are wonderful together and I'm torn about whether to keep or sell. It's always nice to get stuff out there to see whether there's a market but sometimes even when I was going to make 30 of something, I wanted to keep the prototype!
I am loving your tiles. I like the entire set.

I am anxious to see the BS pendant finished. Hurry, I wanna seeeeeee.

Very fun Halloween tiles!
And I know just what you mean about your princess image taking sudden leave from the stamping table. I thought that only could happen to me! She will make a great pendant for sure.

Happy Anniversary .. but stay safe over there!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga

Remembering Aletha

Greetings, Friends. This post today is part of a very special blog hop. We are celebrating the life of an amazingly talented artist and friend. The crafting community lost Aletha Jane Williams on May 5, 2019. Those of us that worked with her on Design Teams or on Challenge Blogs all agree that she was one of the sweetest and most talented women we knew. We are not here to mourn her loss though. This hop is happening in conjunction with a very special celebration of her life and her art that her husband Bob is holding in her home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Please join us in honoring our incredibly creative friend Aletha . My card features the "Remembering Aletha" Sprite, which Mitzi (owner and artist of Aurora Wings ) created specifically for this hop. She is generously giving the digi away to all, over on her blog. This sweet Sprite looks so much like Aletha, and I know she would have been honored. If you download this digi for yourself, please be sure to give a huge "
