Greetings! Today I am sharing the latest Bombshell Stamps Pin-Up Challenge with you. This month, our Pin-Up is Kim. She has challenged us to "Raise Yer Flag!" Some examples Kim had suggested was to use an actual flag, a pirate's flag, the colors of a country's flag, etc. Here's what I came up with.
I chose to work with my Retro Cowgirls and Harley Bikes sets for this card. You may recognize this paper from the card I posted on Monday. I had made this one first, but I had left the scraps out and was inspired to use them for Gene's Father's Day card as well.
I used watercolor markers and Copics to color in my cowgirl, then I went over her with Antique Linen Distress Ink to tone her down a bit. I also colored the Outlaw (which I cut into a banner) with Copics. I remembered that I had some rad star shaped rhinestones that fit oh-so-perfectly over a star punch that I had recently gotten.
I inked my card with that Antique Linen Distress Ink as well. I can't get enough of that color! It always ages things perfectly. The color in this photo is the best representation to what it is in real life. Not sure why the other two are a little off. Be sure to visit the Bombshell Blog to see what the rest of the gals have come up with. This was a fun challenge! Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
A Pillow Book is a diary of sorts. It doesn't just talk about the day's events, but contains lists, observations, converstaions, musings, anything the writer feels like writing about really. 21st Century is because this is a modern pillow book, since it's done on a computer. This is me. This is what my life is all about. I will let you into my head a bit... feel what I'm feeling, see what I'm creating, understand what I'm learning. Enjoy my journey right along with me!

This is fabulous. I love the way you colored her and the papers you used.
